Frank Warren has been asked about the potential of his two fighters, Daniel Dubois and Tyson Fury, squaring off next year.

The proposed clash was brought up by Fury himself when he exclaimed he would ‘box the ears off’ the Brit.

But the young fighter has not been focused on the noise; instead, he looks ahead to his undisputed title fight against Oleksandr Usyk on July 19th.

Dubois has had some backers for that clash, including his former trainer Shane McGuigan, who thinks his style can beat Fury.

Frank Warren personally doesn’t want to see Tyson Fury vs Daniel Dubois – but bout not ruled out

Now, Warren has had his say on the matter as the Hall of Fame promoter has handled both men’s championship-winning careers so far.

In an interview, he said: “After the 19th (in) the heavyweight division all of the questions will be answered, and we will know the direction the belts are going in.

“I believe and I hope Daniel comes through and it’s something we look at… it is not about me entertaining it, it’s about the two fighters doing what they want to.

“For me personally, it is not a fight I’d like to see for obvious reasons.”

The 73-year-old also revealed the former heavyweight king was serious about his return in a phone conversation.

According to the Queensbury figurehead, Tyson will not fight in 2025 due to filming commitments for the second season of ‘At Home With The Furys’.

Warren already said he’d prefer a ‘generational’ Anthony Joshua fight for Fury return

But a potential fight that never escapes the mind of the boxing public is an Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury clash.

Long rumoured and on some occasions close to reality, these two domestic names have yet to square off.

But as Frank explained in April, if there was one fight that could get Fury to come back it was that one.

He said: “That would tempt all of us, to get him to do it. That’s the fight everybody wants to see, a generational fight.

“You never know what can happen in boxing.”

AJ lost to Usyk twice, just like the Gypsy King, but the loss that has affected the fighter the most was a devastating KO loss to Dubois in September.

Joshua is also set to make a return from injury, potentially at the end of the year; however, he is looking at finishing his career in his next three fights.

Boxing fans, especially in Britain, have been desperate to see the fight but with the pair nearing the end of their respective careers now has to be the time or there is no chance.
