Arsenal are considering a potential bid to re-sign Dutch forward Donyell Malen from PSV Eindhoven, according to a report in England.

The Daily Mirror is reporting that the Gunners are keeping tabs on the 20-year-old forward despite having sold Malen two years ago.

The same article states that PSV Eindhoven value the Dutch forward at around £50m after Arsenal sold Malen for a mere £500,000 in 2017.

According to the same story, Arsenal are set to have plenty of competition for Malen given no fewer than 45 clubs have asked PSV to be kept informed about the Dutch talent’s future.

The Daily Mirror go on to suggest that Arsenal’s rivals Liverpool FC are another Premier League club with an interest in Malen.

The PSV Eindhoven starlet has earned comparisons to Arsenal legend Thierry Henry throughout his fledgling career so far.

The former Gunners forward netted 10 times and made four assists in 31 appearances in the Eredivisie.

Malen has started the current campaign in fine style after netting six times in five games this term.

Arsenal were 3-0 winners against Bundesliga outfit Eintracht Frankfurt in their Europa League group-stage opener last week.

The Gunners signed six new players to revamp Unai Emery’s squad in the summer.

Arsenal finished in fifth spot in the Premier League last term.
