Laurent Koscielny admits he in unsure whether a move to Marseille will materialise this summer.

The Arsenal defender has been linked with a potential switch to the Ligue 1 side after a disappointing season for the north London side in the Champions League and the Premier League.

The Gunners crashed out of the Champions League after a 10-2 loss to Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich to exit the competition at the last-16 stage for the seventh successive season.

Arsenal saw their title bid come to a premature end after a difficult run in the Premier League in the second half of the season following losses to Chelsea, Liverpool, Watford and West Brom.

The Daily Mail reports that Marseille would view Koscielny as a potential big-name signing after a new owner took over the reins of the former Champions League winners this summer.

Speaking to Telefoot about speculation linking him with a move to Marseille, Arsenal centre-half Koscielny said:

“I have a contract with Arsenal, I even signed an extension last November until 2020. I feel very good there.

“I have always said that I was a Marseille fan when I was younger. When a mythical club like Marseille contact you, it is good.

“But will I sign for them? I have no idea at all.”
