Arsenal have a busy summer ahead of them, with plenty of incomings and outgoings expected at the Emirates Stadium.
After yet another season ending in a second-place finish for Mikel Arteta’s side, getting business right this transfer window is absolutely vital.
An announcement of the arrival of Martin Zubimendi appears just around the corner, and discussions surrounding a potential striker signing are ongoing, with Arsenal targeting Benjamin Šeško and Viktor Gyökeres.
The Gunners are also expected to spend money on a winger to bolster their attacking options further this summer, with Rodrygo high on Arteta’s wishlist.

A deal for the Brazilian would be pricey, and Arsenal may have to let go of a fan favourite if they are to land the Real Madrid star’s signature.
Bayern Munich interested in Gabriel Martinelli
According to Christian Falk, Gabriel Martinelli is a target for Arsenal’s Champions League rivals, Bayern Munich.
The Bundesliga giants are actively looking to upgrade in the winger department this summer, having also been linked to Liverpool star Luis Díaz, with top target Nico Williams looking set to join Barcelona.
Martinelli has been at Arsenal since his £6m move from Ituano in 2019, and the club could be set to make a huge profit on the Brazilian international.
With Leandro Trossard reportedly close to signing a new deal at the club, it appears as though the Belgian international will be the one to provide competition to a potential new left-wing signing.
Martinelli’s market value is currently sitting at £47m, and cashing in on him could help the Gunners land the likes of Rodrygo this summer.

Arsenal may regret selling a player of Martinelli’s talent
When Martinelli joined Arsenal six years ago, very little was known of him outside of Brazil, but he quickly became a fan favourite at the club for his tenacity and raw talent.
He burst onto the scene and massively impressed in his first few months, with ex-Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp hailing him a ‘talent of the century’ on Liverpool’s official website after he bagged a brace against his side.
Speaking to Fred Caldeira, Klopp went on to add: “He’s really unbelievable. So young, looks so mature already, is a proper threat.”
That wasn’t the end of the praise for Martinelli, with Brazilian icon Ronaldinho comparing the then-teenager to Ronaldo Nazario.
Ronaldinho told the Mirror: “We as Brazilians are very excited about him and his future. It is one thing to have the talent, but another at the age of 18 to have the confidence.
“He reminds me of Ronaldo. In his first season in Europe, he scored 30 goals and people were thinking: ‘who is this 18-year-old Brazilian kid?’”
Martinelli has scored 51 goals in 225 appearances for Arsenal, with a further 29 assists in that time.
