Liverpool have agreed a contract with Mohamed Salah but the Reds are still to conclude a deal with Roma for the winger, according to reports in Italy.
Sky Italia – as quoted by Tuttormercatoweb – is reporting that Liverpool have agreed economic terms with the Egypt international as Jurgen Klopp closes in on his second signing of the 2017 summer transfer window.
Liverpool still have to agree on a price with the Serie A club for the former Chelsea winger after the Merseyside outfit reportedly failed with a £28m offer last week.
Salah moved to Chelsea from Basel in January 2014 but the winger failed to make an impression at the west London club and was sent on loan to Fiorentina.
The African star spent the 2015-16 season at Roma before the Serie A giants completed a permanent £16m deal to sign the versatile midfielder last summer.
Salah has scored 35 times in 81 appearances in Serie A over the past three seasons at Fiorentina and Roma.
Liverpool will play the Champions League next season after finishing fourth int he Premier League.
