Jamie Redknapp says there is “no joy” in the Manchester United team under Jose Mourinho.
The Red Devils have endured a disappointing season under the Portuguese coach after Mourinho replaced Louis van Gaal back in May 2016.
Manchester United finished in sixth place in the Premier League table after a disappointing first season under Mourinho despite the manager being a three-time league winner.
The 54-year-old coach led the Red Devils to EFL Cup glory earlier this season thanks to Manchester United’s 2-1 win against Southampton in the final at Wembley.
Manchester United can still qualify for the Champions League next season as the Red Devils gear up to face Dutch giants Ajax in the Europa League final.
However, Manchester United have a disappointing goal record in the Premier League this term, scoring less goals than Eddie Howe’s Bournemouth side.
“There is no joy in the Man United team,” Redknapp told Sky Sports.
“It’s not like teams we’ve watched in the past. This is Man United we’re talking about.”
