Martin Keown believes Kylian Mbappe is more dynamic and powerful than Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford.
The Monaco forward has established himself as one of the most-exciting prospects in Champions League football thanks to his scintillating performances in the competition.
Mbappe scored twice over two legs in Monaco’s aggregate win against Manchester City before the teenager netted two goals in their 3-2 victory over Borussia Dortmund in the first leg of their quarter-final on Wednesday evening.
The 18-year-old has now scored four times in six games in the Champions League this season, while the Monaco starlet has netted 12 times in 22 appearances in Ligue 1.
Manchester United, who made Monaco’s Anthony Martial the most expensive teenager in the world in 2015, have been linked with a summer move for the newly-capped France international.
Jose Mourinho has already got Marcus Rashford in his Manchester United squad but the England star has struggled for form and game time this term.
Writing in his Daily Mail column, former Arsenal defender Keown claimed that Mbappe is a superior player than Rashford.
“There must be an avalanche of clubs trying to buy him. He has a similar movement to Marcus Rashford but Mbappe is more dynamic and powerful,” Keown said.
