Liverpool FC haven’t received any contact from Real Madrid over their prized asset Mohamed Salah, according to a report in England.

Sky Sports is reporting that Real Madrid haven’t made an approach for the Egypt international with view to a potential swoop for the 25-year-old in the summer transfer window.

The same article states that reports Liverpool FC have told Real Madrid that Salah will cost excess of £200m appear to be wide of the mark given los Blancos haven’t been in touch.

According to the same story, Jurgen Klopp is confident that the PFA player of the year award will remain with Liverpool FC beyond the summer despite an incredible season at Anfield.

Salah moved to Liverpool FC in a £39m deal from Serie A giants AS Roma in the 2017 summer transfer window following a disappointing eight-month stint at Chelsea FC back in 2014 before a loan switch to Fiorentina.

The African forward has scored 31 times in 33 games in the Premier League this season, while Salah has also netted 11 goals in 13 outings in the Champions League as well as his consolation goal in the FA Cup fourth round.

Salah’s 43-goal haul has earned him the PFA player of the year award and prompted talk of a first Ballon d’Or.
