Garth Crooks has claimed that Liverpool FC and Manchester United would win the Premier League title if N’Golo Kante was in their respective teams.

The France international produced another dominant performance in Chelsea FC’s 1-0 win against Liverpool FC at Stamford Bridge last weekend.

Kante helped Chelsea FC to keep Liverpool FC’s attacking trio Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah muted in west London.

The 26-year-old helped Leicester City to win an unprecedented Premier League title under Claudio Ranieri in 2015-16.

Chelsea FC signed Kante in a £30m deal from Leicester in the 2016 summer transfer window following Antonio Conte’s appointment.

The France midfielder inspired the Blues to title glory after Chelsea FC finished seven points ahead of Tottemnham Hotspur.

Kante won the PFA player of the year award after he played a key role in their title success under Conte.

Former Spurs forward Crooks believes Kante would transform Liverpool FC or Manchester United into Premier League champions.

“He has been so good at what he does I’ve almost run out of things to say about this player,” Crooks told BBC Sport.

“N’Golo Kante was back to his masterful self against the Champions League finalists.

“If there was an interception to be made, he made it. However, what I have noticed is the growth in confidence in his overall game. He seldom gives the ball away and his passes always get to where they are intended.

“Kante has won two Premier League titles with two different clubs and I dare say if he moved to Manchester United or Liverpool, the title would move there too.”

Kante has scored three goals in 86 gams in all competitions since moving to Chelsea FC.
