Liverpool FC are increasingly fearful that Jurgen Klopp could quit Anfield to take over the reins of the German national team, according to a report in England.
The Daily Mirror is reporting that the Liverpool FC owners know they’ll face a tough battle to keep Klopp if Germany make an approach.
The same article states that Klopp hasn’t shown an interest in putting pen to paper on a new deal that would make him one of the Premier League’s best-paid managers.
According to the same story, the former Borussia Dortmund head coach is content at Liverpool FC despite recent reports surrounding his future.
The Daily Mirror report states that Fenway Sports Group owner John W Henry wants to rip up Klopp’s deal and hand him a longer contract.
Klopp took over the reins from Brendan Rodgers back in October 2015.
