Manchester United have been set an incredible £100m asking price to sign Ryan Sessegnon from Fulham this summer, according to reports in the British media.

The Sun is reporting that the Red Devils have been told that they will need to shell out a huge transfer fee if they want to convince the Cottagers to part company with the left-back this summer.

The 17-year-old has been in superb form for Fulham this season and has been voted as the Championship Player of the Year.

Manchester United and Tottenham are both believed to be strongly interested in signing the talented teenager this summer, but according to the latest reports, they could have to break the bank to secure his signature.

The same story says that Fulham are “desperate” to keep hold of Sessegnon beyond the summer transfer window and have set an astronomical asking price to ward off potential suitors.

Sessegnon has been in fine form this season, scoring 15 goals and making six assists in 47 Championship appearances for Fulham.

Manchester United are likely to be on the lookout for a number of new signings this summer as Jose Mourinho looks to assemble a team capable of winning the title next term.
