Leeds United continue their preparations for the new Premier League season and continue to stay active in the transfer market.
Seven total signings have been brought to Elland Road, and manager Daniel Farke is pushing for further reinforcements prior to the beginning of the season.
Four new signings have been touted as the number the Whites desire before the summer window shuts, but time is running out to negotiate these deals as clubs dig in their heels.
The free agent market has been a source of transfer rumours surrounding Leeds, with both Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Callum Wilson having been linked heavily with a move to Elland Road at points during the window.
However, there are several other players still available on a free transfer that could provide Farke with reinforcement as the Whites look to survive in the Premier League.

Sergio Reguilon
Sergio Reguilon has had an unlucky time with injuries in recent seasons, but still has tons of Premier League experience that could be crucial to a side like Leeds.
The Whites currently have one recognised left-back in the form of Gabriel Gudmundsson, with Sam Byram being a makeshift back-up despite naturally being a right-back.
Reguilon would provide Leeds with depth in the left-back area and save valuable transfer funds that could be distributed to the attacking targets.
The Spaniard has had spells at Tottenham, Brentford, and Manchester United, which is far greater Premier League experience than the current starting defenders at Elland Road.
As a back-up to Gudmundsson, Farke would no longer have the headache of needing Byram to play on his weaker side, whilst having a strong rotation option when fixtures pile up.

Josh Brownhill
Josh Brownhill was integral to Burnley’s promotion to the Premier League, with the midfielder finishing joint-second in the Championship scoring charts just behind Joel Piroe.
The Englishman scored twice against Sheffield United to seal both Burnley and Leeds’ promotion to the Premier League, with the Whites ultimately snatching the title on the final day.
Brownhill reportedly wants a move to Leeds after letting his Clarets contract expire and opting not to renew terms with the promoted side.
The midfielder would provide great depth and experience for the Whites’ Premier League campaign and could prove a strong candidate for the number ten role should Brenden Aaronson fail to impress.
With competition from Everton and MLS side Toronto, Leeds would need to act fast to secure Brownhill’s signature; however, he remains a sensible depth option that could give more stability to a young side.
Christian Eriksen
Christian Eriksen has seen a lack of Premier League interest following his departure from Manchester United, with only a high-profile Wrexham offer being reported.
Leeds could heavily benefit from a playmaker with the abilities of Eriksen, and particularly the years of experience and constant appearances he has made.
| Season | Total Appearances |
| 2024/25 | 35 |
| 2023/24 | 28 |
| 2022/23 | 44 |
Despite now being 33, the Danish midfielder has consistent fitness and could operate alongside the Whites’ new central midfield signings.
Allowing the likes of Ao Tanaka and Anton Stach to carry out the major defensive duties would allow Eriksen a licence to roam and look for attacking options, similar to the role of Joe Rothwell in Leeds’ promotion campaign.
Whilst he may command a large wage, the lack of a transfer fee would allow Farke to invest in other areas of his squad and give his midfield proven Premier League quality that could aid their survival chances.
