A number of the Wolves squad and former players, including Max Kilman, responded to the 31-year-old’s farewell message, sending their support and appreciation.
Kilman said: “Legend. All the best in your next chapter.”
Toti Gomes, who has been tipped to replace Semedo as captain for the upcoming season, also paid tribute to Semedo on Instagram.
He said: “Legend, we will miss you brother!!”
