Anarchy MuscleTech is a pre workout supplement designed to help keep you full of energy during your gym sessions.

The manufacturers say that it’s been designed to provide “extreme” energy and focus.

It is also claimed to help improve muscle strength and power to make sure that you’re firing on all cylinders in the gym.

In this review article, we’re going to take a close look at Anarchy MuscleTech to see whether it’s a pre workout worth considering adding to your stack.

We’re going to do this by breaking down the ingredients, checking out real customer reviews and then assessing how it fares when compared to the competition.

So, let’s get right down to it and start breaking down this product in our Anarchy pre workout review.

What does Anarchy by MuscleTech do?

If you’ve landed on this page, you probably already know all about pre workout supplements. You can read all about the benefits of pre workouts in our handy guide by hitting the link below.

They are products designed to be taken before your gym session to make sure that you’re full of energy and feeling ‘in the zone’ during those crucial hours of your workouts.

The best pre workouts usually work by combining stimulants such as caffeine with a number of other natural ingredients to help give your body the boost it needs to get the very most out of your training or sport sessions.

Anarchy MuscleTech contains a number of ingredients to get you firing in the gym, including L-citrulline and L-arginine, which the manufacturer say have been added to provide intense muscle pumps.

But we’ll go more into detail about the ingredients in the next section. Let’s get cracking.

What you need to know about the ingredients

Anarchy MuscleTech contains some pretty good ingredients after taking a quick glance at the label, although there are also quite a few of our favorite pre workout ingredients missing.

But let’s first kick this section off by taking a look at the good ingredients that Anarchy MuscleTech does contain.

• Caffeine Anhydrous – This is one of our top pre workout ingredients. Caffeine has been shown in numerous studies to boost energy and focus, making it a perfect pre workout supplement. The problem with lots of pre workout supplements these days is that they tend to overdo it on the stimulants, but Anarchy MuscleTech contains 160mg per scoop, which is a good solid amount.

• L-Theanine – We were really pleased to see this on the label. This is an amino acid extracted from tea leaves and has become popular with lots of fitness products in recent years. The secret is when it’s combined directly with caffeine, it helps to bring about all of the positive effects of caffeine such as increased energy and focus, without all of the negative things such as the jitters. Think, caffeine boost with a calm and focused undertone.

• L-Citrulline – This used to be a very popular ingredient for pre workout supplements but in recent times it has been replaced by the superior Citrulline Malate in many products. The only difference between the two substances is the addition of Malic Acid, which can have a big positive impact on your performance.

• Beta-Alanine – Another popular pre workout ingredient. Beta-Alanine is an amino acid found within skeletal muscle. It’s often used by people looking to get a bit more out of their high-intensity training sessions, but we don’t rate it as one of the main pre workout ingredients of choice.

• Pomegranate – This has presumably included to help boost muscle pumps during your workout, but we’re not totally convinced about how efficient it is.

What’s missing?

Although Anarchy MuscleTech does contain some good ingredients, we can’t help but feel that there are quite a lot of things missing as well.

Firstly, there was no Creatine included. Most of you will know Creatine as a post workout supplement because it can help with muscle building, however some top pre workout supplements also include it because it’s able to improve hydration and reduce fatigue.

We’d also definitely prefer to see Citrulline Malate included instead of L-Citrulline because it’s superior in our opinion.

Some of our other favorite ingredients that were missing include Rhodiola Rosea, Beetroot extract and Coconut water.

Are there any side effects?

These kinds of pre workout supplements are usually pretty safe, because they tend to only contain natural ingredients.

The main thing we recommend checking, though, is the stimulant content. A lot of the pre workouts we reviewed tend to overdo it by adding too much caffeine or other similar stimulants.

Usually, we say that around 150mg of caffeine per serving in a pre workout should be just about the right amount to boost your energy levels without giving you the jitters or triggering an energy crash later in the day.

Anarchy MuscleTech contains 160mg of caffeine per scoop, which is a decent amount.

If you work out in the evening, this pre workout is not for you, as the caffeine is likely to affect your natural sleep pattern.

How to take Anarchy

Each tub of Anarchy MuscleTech contains 30 servings of 7g scoops.

The label says that you should mix one scoop with a glass of water around 20-30 minutes before starting your training session.

The time it takes of a pre workout to ‘kick in’ tends to vary depending on the person and a number of other factors, so we definitely recommend experimenting to see how long it takes for it to work for you.

What are customers saying?

We found lots of reviews of Anarchy MuscleTech online on sites such as Amazon.

It seems to have a mixed reaction from customers. At the time of writing this article, the product has 458 reviews on Amazon, and 50% of those are five stars.

Of those reviews, 25% of them are one star only.

There were a few complaints from people who claimed that the powder had developed into lumps in their tubs.

One person said it wasn’t the best tasting product by that they felt the effects within 15 minutes of taking it.

Someone else said it worked brilliantly for them although they found that it cakes frequently in the tub.

Is this the best pre workout?

Not in our opinion. Although there are some positives about Anarchy MuscleTech, we couldn’t help but feel that there are definitely some better products on the market right now.

We recently compiled a list of the best pre workout supplements on sale at the moment. Check out the full guide by clicking the link below.

Anything else to consider?

As we always say when discussing any supplement products, remember that the supplement alone is not going to do any of the hard work for you.

A good pre workout can get you feeling in the zone in the gym, but you’ll still have to do the training yourself.

And as ever, make sure that you’ve got your diet and training regime on point before considering adding any supplements to your stack.
