Animal Cuts is a supplement made by Universal Nutrition Photo: The Sport Review

Animal Cuts is a popular health supplement made by Universal Nutrition. It claims to be the most complete product on the market, and vows to help you achieve your goals from every angle.

From what we’ve seen, Animal Cuts seems to be one of the best-selling supplements in this category on Amazon and other websites.

In this review article, we’re going to take a close look at Animal Cuts by breaking down the ingredients, checking out some customer reviews and comparing it to some of the similar products available right now.

What does Animal Cuts by Universal Nutrition do?

As we’ve already mentioned, Animal Cuts fits into the broad range of supplements generally referred to as so-called ‘fat burners’.

These are health and dietary supplements designed to help support your goals when used in conjunction with a healthy lifestyle and regular exercise.

However, as well as helping you to achieve your goals, Animal Cuts also contains some ‘nootropic’ ingredients.

But is Animal Cuts all it’s cracked up to be? Let’s start off by taking a close look at all of the ingredients.

What you need to know about the ingredients

Animal Cuts includes a number of ingredients to help boost your chances of success.

That being said, there are still a number of key things missing which prevent this product from being classed as a truly top supplement in our opinion. But more on that later in the review.

• Green Tea Extract – This is probably the first ingredient you need to look for when selecting a product in this category, so it’s good to see it included in Animal Cuts. You’ve probably already come across it many times before in supplements in this category. It’s also a commonly used hot drink.

• Caffeine Anhydrous – Animal Cuts also contains a significant amount of caffeine per serving, which is also good news. Caffeine is one of the most popular stimulants on the planet and is consumed by millions on a daily basis. It’s good to find it in the Animal Cuts formula.

• Guarana – This is another relatively popular ingredient in health supplements. Guarana has a similar effect to caffeine. That being said, we are perhaps a bit wary of products that use too many stimulants in their ingredients formulas.

• Raspberry Ketones – This is another popular ingredient in supplements these days. That said, we don’t currently think it’s one of the best ingredients for a supplement in this category.

• Black Pepper Extract – Animal Cuts also includes a branded form of Black Pepper Extract, which is great to see. Black Pepper Extract could help to make for a more effective product overall.

There are lots of other ingredients in Animal Cuts, and we’ve listed them below.

We have to say that taking a look at the ingredients list of Animal Cuts is pretty exhausting. There are lots and lots of individual ingredients, and while you may think this is a good thing at first, it probably means that the doses are quite small.

We also don’t like the fact that they’ve chosen to hide the exact dosages of the individual ingredients by only including the ‘total’ number in MG of a combined number of ingredients.

What’s missing?

Despite having an exhaustive ingredients list, there are lots of things missing from Animal Cuts in our opinion.

Cayenne Pepper is one of the key ingredients in a supplement of this type in our opinion and it was very disappointing not to see it included.

We were also disappointed not to see things like Green Coffee Bean extract and Glucomannan not included as these are some of the first things we look for in supplements in this category.

Are there any side effects?

Of course, you should always carefully check the label before taking a product of this nature to make sure that you’re not allergic to any of the ingredients.

The main thing to note with products of this type is that they tend to contain a lot of caffeine.

If you’re already drinking coffee on a regular basis, you may need to cut down while taking this product to make sure that you don’t over do it.

Given the caffeine content, we’d also recommend not taking this product too close to bedtime.

We do also always recommend speaking to your doctor before thinking about taking any new supplement for the first time.

How to take Animal Cuts by Universal Nutrition

Each package of Animal Cuts contains 42 servings. The package says to take two packets, with meals, every day, which means one box would only last for 21 days.

They also say to follow a cycle consisting of three weeks on and one week off.

There is also a warning saying that Animal Cuts is not suitable for people under the age of 18 and they say you shouldn’t take it if you’re pregnant or nursing.

We also recommend drinking plenty of water with this supplement to make sure that you don’t get dehydrated.

What are customers saying?

We found lots of reviews from verified customers of Animal Cuts on Amazon and other websites.

One user said his son was very happy with the product and that he is noticing the difference as he plays on the football team.

However, one customer reported that the supplement had a laxative effect for them and that it didn’t help them at all.

Another user complained of severe headaches while taking this supplement, while another said that it didn’t compare to other similar products, which they thought were better.

Is this the best supplement?

Not in our opinion. Although there are a lot of good things about Animal Cuts, there are also certain factors which have put us off.

The fact that they do not include the doses of the individual ingredients is a cause for concern, and there are lots of ingredients missing in our opinion.

Anything else to consider?

As we always say, there’s no ‘magic pill’ when it comes to your health and fitness goals.

Supplements like Animal Cuts are designed to be used in conjunction with regular exercise and a healthy diet. If you’re not eating right and not training hard, you’re probably not going to get the results you’re after.

That being said, if you are checking those two boxes, then adding a good supplement to your regimen can help to support you as you get closer to your goals.

Review conclusion – our final thoughts

So, is Animal Cuts a supplement you should consider taking? Here are our main thoughts in a nutshell:

Pros:
– Popular supplement
– Lots of ingredients

Cons:
– Doses of ingredients are hidden
– Mixed user reviews
– Possibly too many ingredients

So there we have it, our full review of Animal Cuts by Universal Nutrition. While it is clearly a popular supplement and it does contain some good ingredients, we can’t help but feel that there are lots of things missing.

We were also disappointed to see that the individual doses of the ingredients were not shown.

Taking all of that into account, we strongly feel that there are better options out there at the moment.
