Blade is a supplement for men made by Blue Star Nutraceuticals. Not only does it claim to be one of the newest products on the market, but it also is said to be the strongest.

In this review article, we’re going to take a close look at the ingredients in Blade, to see whether this product is all it’s cracked up to be.

We’re going to assess the ingredients, check out some customer reviews and determine where it stands in relation to other products out there in our in-depth Blade Blue Star review.

What does Blade by Blue Star do?

As we’ve already mentioned, Blade fits into a broader category of supplements generally referred to as so-called ‘fat burners’.

These are products which usually contain ingredients such as vitamins, minerals and plant extracts.

They have become very popular in recent years, but it’s important to remember that no supplement can replace a healthy diet and exercise program. You should always make sure that you’re training hard and eating right before thinking about trying any kind of supplement.

What you need to know about the ingredients

We’ve taken a close look at the ingredients in Blade to see how it ranks in comparison to the best products out there at the moment.

We were pleased to see a number of our favorite ingredients on the label but we couldn’t help but feel that there were also some thing missing.

First, though, let’s concentrate on exactly what Blade is made of.

• Caffeine Anhydrous – This is a very popular ingredient and one of our favourite substances for a supplement in this category. Of course, you’ll already know that Caffeine is one of the most widely-used stimulants around at the moment. It’s great to find it in the Blade formula.

• Green Tea Extract – This is another top ingredient and quite frankly, we wouldn’t consider taking a supplement of this type which didn’t include Green Tea in some form. It’s one of our favourite ingredients for a supplement of this type so it was great to see it included in Blade.

• Yohimbine – This is not one of the main ingredients we look for in a supplement in this category. We must say that we’re not huge fans of Yohimbine as an ingredient. We feel that there are other better ingredients that could have been included.

• Sweet Pepper – This is a good inclusion but we can’t understand why Blade opted to include this ahead of Cayenne Pepper. It’s not a bad inclusion at all, but we can’t help but feel that Cayenne Pepper itself would have been a much better addition to this supplement.

• Acetyl-L-Carnitine – This is another interesting inclusion but not one we’re totally convinced by. Although we would consider it to be a good ingredient in a pre workout supplement (where it is commonly found), we’re not sure about its use in a supplement of this type.

• P-Synephrine – We had not really heard much about this ingredient before, so we had to do some research on it. We’re not very convinced by it, and we would have preferred to see something more familiar, such as high-dose B Vitamins.

What’s missing?

There are quite a lot of things missing from Blade, in our honest opinion.

As we’ve already mentioned above, we feel that Cayenne Pepper is a key omission from this supplement.

It was also disappointing not to see Glucomannan included in this supplement.

Along with Green Tea and Cayenne, we consider Glucomannan to be one of the leading ingredients for a product of this type. It’s a dietary fiber which comes from the root of the Konjac plant and which is commonly used in products of this type.

Then there were a number of other key omissions, such as Zinc, Chromium, and Green Coffee Bean extract.

The fact that Blade doesn’t contain these is disappointing to us as they are some of the most widely used ingredients in supplements of this type.

Are there any side effects?

As always, we do recommend that you carefully check the label before taking any supplement for the first time, to make sure that you’re not allergic to any of the ingredients.

The main thing to bear in mind with Blade, and most supplements like this, is that they contain quite a lot of caffeine.

That’s great if you’re looking to stay energised while dieting, but not so good if you want to enjoy a nice, relaxing deep sleep.

Because of that, we’d recommend not taking Blade too close to bedtime, and try and take it as early in the day as possible.

It’s also always a good idea to speak to your doctor before thinking about taking any new supplement for the first time.

How to take Blade

Each bottle of Blade contains 120 capsules. That means that if you stick to the recommended dose, one bottle would last you for 30 days.

The label says to take one capsule in a 24 hour period to assess tolerance when taking this product for the first time.

They then say to take two capsules when you wake up and two capsules in the mid-afternoon with plenty of water.

There is also a warning not to take it within five hours of going to sleep, and they also say not to take more than four capsules in a 24-hour period.

What are customers saying?

We found lots of reviews of Blade on Amazon and other websites.

Some were positive, with one user saying that it helped them, and another customer saying it was an “outstanding” purchase.

However, some users also questioned the ingredients, with one person saying that 8mg of Yohimbine is not enough to be effective.

Someone else said that they were halfway through their first bottle and that they hadn’t seen any results at all.

Is this the best supplement?

Not in our opinion. Although Blade definitely does contain some good ingredients, we can’t help but feel that there are a lot of key ingredients missing.

Anything else to consider?

You won’t need us to tell you this but there sadly isn’t a ‘magic pill’ when it comes to getting in shape.

You’ll have to put in the hard work with your exercise and nutrition to see any results.

But if you’re able to combine both with a good supplement, it can help to support you on your journey.

Review conclusion – our final thoughts

So, is Blade by Blue Star a supplement you should buy? Here are our thoughts in summary:

• Reputable brand
• Some good ingredients

• Missing some key ingredients
• Stimulant heavy
• Expensive

So, that brings us to an end of our review of Blade by Blue Star. We hope you found this article useful.

We think Blade is a decent product but we definitely feel that there are better options out there which offer a blend of the top ingredients for supplements of this type.
