Cellucor P6 Extreme Pump is a supplement that also promises to improve your experience when training.

So, if you’re looking to find out all of the important key information about this supplement, then you’re in the right place.

In case you didn’t already know, so-called ‘testosterone boosters’ have become popular in recent years as more people look for products to support their goals.

The food supplement market has exploded in recent years, and that means more choice than ever when it comes to selecting a supplement in this category.

What sets P6 Extreme Pump apart from a lot of the other similar products around right now is that it claims to use specific ingredients to help boost your workouts.

It’s also one of the most expensive supplements we’ve come across, with one bottle costing a wallet-breaking $99.99.

The purpose of this Cellucor P6 Extreme Pump review is for us to take a close look at this supplement from all angles as we look to try and determine whether it can live up to the marketing hype or not.

We’re going to focus on the ingredients formula, the customer reviews and the servings as we look to see where it stands compared to some of the best so-called ‘testosterone booster’ supplements on the market at the moment.

So, let’s now get cracking and start taking a close look at P6 Extreme Pump to see what it’s really made of.

What does Cellucor P6 Extreme Pump do?

As we’ve already worked out, Cellucor P6 Extreme pump has been designed to do two things.

In fact, the marketing material on the bottle itself makes some pretty bold claims about what this product can do.

It’s certainly a unique take by Cellucor, who are one of the biggest names in the fitness supplements industry.

Indeed, the marketing material goes on to say that this supplement will support a number of things as you look to achieve your goals.

Cellucor claim that the P6 Extreme Pump formula is so potent that this supplement will give you an “almost an unfair advantage”.

This sounds pretty good, but frankly we’ve heard it all before when it comes to the marketing material about health and fitness supplements.

Cellucor also claim that they’ve only used the “best ingredients” in the P6 Extreme Pump formula.

So, now that we’ve heard all of the marketing hype from Cellucor (who are clearly confident about their product), it’s now time to take a look at the ingredients to see if P6 Extreme Pump can really live up to the hype or not.

What you need to know about the ingredients

Let’s begin this part by looking at the actual ingredients label of P6 Extreme Pump.

Cellucor P6 Extreme Pump ingredients

Before we get into the individual ingredients, we’ve got to admit that we were disappointed that Cellucor have opted to use a proprietary blend this this supplement (like the rest of the P6 range).

We don’t like to see proprietary blends used in any supplements, because they are just a convenient way for manufacturers to get away without disclosing the full doses of the ingredients used.

With a proprietary blend, we know the names of the ingredients used, but we literally do not know how much of each one is added to the formula.

This makes it really tricky to judge effectiveness – and we generally advise that you stay away from supplements that use proprietary blends.

Let’s now focus on the main ingredients in the Cellucor P6 Extreme Pump formula.

• KSM-66 Ashwagandha – This is pretty good ingredient. It’s a branded version of the herb Ashwagandha, which is often found in food supplements these days. This particular form of Ashwagandha has also shown promise in some areas, so it’s a decent inclusion in the Cellucor P6 Extreme Pump formula.

• LJ100 Longjack Extract – Longjack is a pretty common ingredient. Cellucor say that they’ve used it in the P6 Extreme Pump formula because of its ability to help with a number of things. It’s an OK ingredient, but Cellucor could certainly have used a more commonly-used substance here.

• Nitrosigine Inositol-Stabilized Arginine Silicate – Cellucor describe this ingredient as a “serious game changer” – which is certainly quite some introduction. There are claims that it can help with some things as you look to hit your goals.

• NO3-T Arginine Nitrate – We’ve not come across this ingredient in too many supplements before, although Arginine is often used in some pre workout supplements.

• Fenugreek – This is a great ingredient for a supplement in this category. You’ll find it in a lot of supplements on sale these days. It was good to find it in the P6 Extreme Pump formula (it’s just a shame that we don’t know the dose because of the proprietary blend).

• Stinging Nettle Root Extract – Despite the ominous name, this is actually quite a common ingredient. Lots of the leading products in this category contain some form of Nettle Extract.

• Diindolylmethane – Also known as DIM, this is a nutrient which is commonly found in leafy green vegetables. It’s a decent inclusion in the Cellucor P6 Extreme Pump formula.

• Ovine Placenta Powder – You probably don’t need us to explain where this ingredient comes from. Consuming this is certainly a pretty disgusting thought, and we’re not too sure why Cellucor have included it in this supplement,

• Agaricus Bisporus – Also known as the common mushroom. We’ve not come across this ingredient too often in supplements of this type.

What’s missing?

Aside from the proprietary blend, Cellucor P6 Extreme Pump does have some good ingredients in it, such as Fenugreek and Ashwagandha.

That said, there are some of our favorite ingredients missing from this supplement, namely:

• D-Aspartic Acid
• Magnesium and Zinc
• Black Pepper Extract

We really feel that Cellucor have missed a trick by not including D-Aspartic Acid in this supplement.

Magnesium and Zinc are also two ingredients that were were disappointed not to find on the label. In case you didn’t know, Zinc contributes to the maintenance of normal serum testosterone levels.

Are there any Cellucor P6 Extreme Pump side effects?

The Cellucor P6 Extreme Pump ingredients formula is a pretty safe one overall, so you shouldn’t have to worry too much about the possibility of suffering from any serious side effects.

That being said, we do always recommend that you check through the ingredients list yourself and do some of your own research before trying any new supplement for the first time.

For example, it’s always a good idea to check that you’re not going to be allergic to any of the substances in the formula.

We also recommend speaking to your doctor before thinking about taking this (or any) supplement for the first time.

How to take Cellucor P6 Extreme Pump

Each bottle of Cellucor P6 Extreme Pump contains 150 capsules, which is a month’s supply.

The directions say that you should take five capsules daily, with or without food.

There’s a warning saying never to take more than five capsules in one day.

What are customers saying?

At the time of writing there were 245 Cellucor P6 Extreme Pump reviews on Amazon, with an average rating of 3.8 out of 5 stars.

One person claimed that it “really works” and that this supplement helped them to “pump more weight”.

However, there were also some more negative reviews, with some people claiming it didn’t work for them as advertised.

Is this the best supplement?

Not really. The Cellucor P6 Extreme Pump is certainly a unique product in the sense that it’s designed to work in more than one way.

However, it’s ultimately let down by the fact that it uses a proprietary blend, and that it’s missing some of our favorite ingredients such as D-Aspartic Acid and Zinc.

You can see our guide to the best five supplements around right now by following the link shown below.

Anything else to consider?

Don’t expect a supplement to do all of the hard work for you. You should always make sure that you’ve got your diet and training plan on point before trying any supplement.

That said, if you’re able to combine the right lifestyle choices with a high quality supplement, then it can help to support you on your journey.

Cellucor P6 Extreme Pump review conclusion

That brings us to the end of our Cellucor P6 Extreme Pump review.

Overall, this supplement promised much, but it really failed to deliver due to the fact that it uses a proprietary blend, and is also missing some of our favorite ingredients such as D-Aspartic Acid.

In summary, we feel that there are some other better options on the market right now.
