Their products seem to be everywhere, and Super HD Razor is the latest in a long line of fat burners designed to help you burn more fat.
We’re always ready to hear about the latest leading fat burner supplements on the market and so we were keen to find out more about Super HD Razor.
The Super HD line is one of the more well-known ones out there when it comes to fat burners, so we’re looking forward to finding out more about it.
Our Cellucor Super HD Razor review will focus on all of the main points you need to be aware of when it comes to deciding whether this supplement is for you or not.
As you’ve probably already gathered, Super HD Razor fits into the broader range of supplements usually referred to as ‘fat burners’.
According to the official website, Super HD Razor has been put together to help you burn more fat – and without the use of stimulants.
Stimulant free fat burners are a good option for people looking to cut fat but don’t want any of the side effects which can be caused by things like Caffeine.
You can see our pick of the leading best stimulant free fat burners on the market right now by visiting our dedicated page.
But back to Super HD Razor. Here are the key claims that this product makes:
• Burn fat
• Stimulant free
• Control hunger
This all sounds good to us. The best fat burner supplements usually work in a number of different ways to help you burn more fat.
Because getting your body to burn more fat is not easy, we always recommend choosing a supplement which works in multiple ways. They are always going to be more effective than a one-dimensional fat burner supplement.
Let’s now focus on the all important ingredients. Does this product live up to the marketing hype?
Here is the full ingredients label of Super HD Razor.
The first thing we don’t like about this ingredients list is that Cellucor have decided to use a Proprietary Blend.
This is when the manufacturer chooses to group all the ingredients together in a total ‘blend’.
The reason we don’t like this is that it doesn’t show the individual doses of the ingredients, making it very difficult to judge effectiveness.
Here are the main ingredients in Super HD Razor:
• Black Pepper Extract – This is a good ingredient for any supplement, and we rate it as one of the best. Although it’s not directly going to help with fat burning, Black Pepper Extract (included as Bioperine in this supplement) has been shown to boost the absorption of other ingredients. The bottom line? A supplement which uses Black Pepper Extract is likely to be more effective.
• Tonalin CLA – According to Cellucor, CLA (Conjugated linoleic acid) can help with energy metabolism to help you utilize the fat stored in your body, and also preserve muscle. That sounds great to us, but we don’t really rate CLA as one of the best fat burner ingredients. It has been linked to weight loss, but we feel there are more effective fat burner ingredients out there. For example, Cellucor could have used Cayenne Pepper instead of CLA.
• Synetrim CQ – The manufacturers have used this ingredient because it’s said to help prevent fat and carbs from being absorbed from your diet. Again, as with CLA, we haven’t seen this used in many fat burners before and we’d have preferred to see a more proven natural ingredient used.
• Carnitine Tartrate – Once again, this is not one of our favorite fat burner ingredients. Cellucor say that they’ve used it because it can help to improve fat metabolism and also speed up recovery after excercise.
There are quite a lot of our top-rated fat burner ingredients missing from this supplement.
In fact, Super HD Razor only uses one of the ones we like to see – Black Pepper Extract.
This is disappointing, especially considering that Cellucor are one of the bigger supplement brands out there.
Firstly, it was disappointing not to find any Cayenne Pepper in this fat burner. It’s one of our top rated fat burner ingredients because it can both speed up metabolism but also act as a potent appetite suppressant.
Secondly, there was no Green Tea Extract. This is a powerful natural thermogenic, which is also packed full of antioxidants.
We also feel that this supplement could have benefitted from some Glucomannan, a powerful dietary fiber which can help you feel fuller for longer to make sticking to your diet easier.

The main thing to be wary of in fat burner supplements is the over use of stimulants such as caffeine.
But that, of course, won’t be a problem with Super HD Razor, because it doesn’t use any caffeine or any other stimulants.
That being said, we always recommend taking a close look at the ingredients label for yourself to make sure that you’re not allergic to any of the substances. That’s always a wise place to start.
Each bottle of Super HD Razor contains 112 softgels.
That means that if you stick to the recommended dose of four maximum per day, one bottle will last you for around 28 days.
The directions say that you should take one serving of two softgel) twice daily before meals.
There is a warning saying that you shouldn’t take two servings four softgels at once, but consume prior to two different meals throughout the day.
They also recommend that for best results, you should use the product for 12 consecutive weeks.
The best fat burners usually require you to take them more than three times a day.
That’s because your body will need a constant supply of the fuel it needs to burn more fat, so the more regularly you’re able to supply it, the better.
This is quite a new product so there were not too many reviews online at the time of writing this article.
We found two reviews on bodybuilding.com, both of which were positive.
On Amazon, it had an average review rating of 3.1 out of 5 stars.
One person said that it simply did not work at all, and someone else said that they had bought the product to lose some extra weight before their wedding, but sadly reported that it didn’t work for them.
Definitely not. Although Super HD Razor does have some good things going for it, it’s let down by the fact that it doesn’t use any of the top rated fat burner ingredients, and that it uses a proprietary blend.

As we always remind our readers, there is no such thing as a “magic pill” when it comes to losing weight.
The first thing you should always do is make sure that you’re easting right and training hard before considering any kind of supplement.
There is no excuse for not being able to excercise more regularly and eat more healthily.
That being said, if you’re already making sensible lifestyle choices then the right fat burner can indeed make a big difference.
So that concludes our Cellucor Super HD Razor review.
Overall, we were disappointed with this product. It uses a proprietary blend and is missing too many of our top-rated fat burner ingredients for us to consider it as a quality supplement.
