We’re always on the lookout for the very best fitness supplements on the market and so we were keen to take a close look at SuperHD Ultimate.
It’s marketed as a premium thermogenic fat burner supplement and promises to deliver extended energy and focus.
Indeed, the official website proudly describes this product as the “most powerful weight loss and energy experience”.
So, does SuperHD Ultimate live up the marketing hype, and most importantly, just how effective is it really? Let’s take a close look at it to find out.
Like most of the SuperHD range by Cellucor, Ultimate is designed to help you lose weight by burning more fat.
The website says that it is an “extreme thermogenic” designed to stimulate your metabolism and get you using more fat as an energy source.
It combines Caffeine with a number of other ingredients to you burn more fat and therefore get more results out of your dieting and training regime.
So the two main focuses of SuperHD Ultimate are to get you feeling more energized and burning more fat at the same time.
Now let’s focus on the actual individual ingredients to determine how effective this product really is.
Let’s start this section by taking a close look at the ingredients label of SuperHD Ultimate.
There is already a red flag from taking a quick glance at this, because SuperHD Ultimate uses a proprietary blend called the “Ultimate Ignite and Fuel Blend”.
In case you’re not familiar with what a proprietary blend is, this is when the manufacturers of a supplement don’t include the individual doses of the ingredients and instant wrap them up in a total ‘blend’.
Put simply, you know what’s in it, but you don’t know how much.
That’s not good, because it makes it very hard to judge the effectiveness of a product if you don’t know how much of each ingredient is included.
With that out of the way, let’s focus on the main ingredients in SuperHD Ultimate.
• Caffeine – One of the best fat burner ingredients and we’re glad to see this on the label. SuperHD Ultimate uses two sources of Caffeine. Our preferred one is Caffeine Anhydrous, as it’s the purest form. Despite it being part of the blend, Cellucor do actually reveal the total Caffeine dose per serving on their website at 400mg. That’s quite a lot in our opinion and might be too much for some people.
• Cayenne – Another of the leading fat burner ingredients, it works to help you lose weight in two ways. Firstly, it’s a powerful thermogenic to help get your body burning more fat. But it also works as a potent appetite suppressant to make it easier for you to stick to your diet.
• Black Pepper Extract – Although not linked directly with fat burning, we always favor supplements which use some form of Black Pepper Extract because it’s been shown to help boost the absorption of the other ingredients in the product.
• DygloFit fruit extract – We’ve not seen this ingredient in any fat burners we’ve reviewed before. It’s claimed to “multi-dimensional” weight loss ingredient.
There are a few good ingredients in SuperHD Ultimate but there are also quite a lot of our favorite fat burner ingredients missing.
Firstly there was is no Green Tea Extract. This is one of our top rated and most popular fat burner ingredients because it’s a powerful thermogenic which also boosts energy.
It was also a shame not to see any Glucomannan on the label. This is a natural dietary fiber which can help keep you feeling fuller for longer, which will make sticking to your diet easier.
The main thing to be wary of when it comes to fat burners is stimulant content.
SuperHD Ultimate contains 400mg of Caffeine in total per serving, which is too much in our opinion.
Caffeine is well-known to cause side effects such as the jitters and energy crashes, so the higher the dose per serving, the more likely you are to suffer from them.
We would say that you don’t need more than 300mg of Caffeine per serving when it comes to a fat burner, especially as most people already get Caffeine from other sources such as coffee on a daily basis.
We always recommend closely checking the label before taking any supplement for the first time, to make sure that you’re not allergic to any of the ingredients.
Each bottle of SuperHD Ultimate contains 60 capsules. That means that one bottle should last around a month if you stick to the recommended dose.
The instructions state that you should take two capsules together once a day, either with breakfast or with lunch.
Because of the significant Caffeine content, there’s a warning saying not to take this product within six hours of bedtime.
We generally prefer fat burners that require you to take them more than once a day because that means that your body is getting a constant source of the fuel it needs to burn more fat.
Once a day doesn’t really cut it in our opinion.
We checked on Amazon to see the latest reviews of Cellucor SuperHD Ultimate.
At the time of publishing this post, it had an average rating of 3.8 stars out of 5. However, most of these reviews were of Cellucor’s C4 pre workout powder, so we’re not sure this score is relevant.
We found some more reviews on the GNC website, where it had an average rating of 2 out of five stars.
One customer said that it worked great for them as a high energy fat burner.
However, someone else said that it had “no effects” and that they were returning the product.
Another customer simply said that it wasn’t worth the money and told other people not to buy it.
Definitely not. We’re not a big fan of this product, mainly because it uses a proprietary blend and is missing a lot of our favorite fat burning ingredients.

We’ve said this many times before, but we always recommend that you get your diet and training plan on point before taking any supplement for the first time.
There’s no miracle pill when it comes to losing weight and getting into shape. You’ll need to make sure that your eating right, training hard and getting plenty of rest first.
That being said, if you are looking for something to help you speed up your results if you’ve already taken care of the main stuff, then a quality fat burner can make a big difference.
So that concludes our review of SuperHD Ultimate by Cellucor.
Overall, we’re not huge fans of this product because it uses a proprietary blend, is overloaded with stimulants, and doesn’t use some of our favorite fat burner ingredients.
We feel that there are some much better choices on the market right now.
