We’re always on the lookout for the very best supplements on the market and so we were keen to take a close look at SuperHD Ultimate.
It’s marketed as a premium supplement and promises to deliver on being able to support your goals.
Indeed, the official website proudly describes this product as one of the “most powerful” supplements around.
So, does SuperHD Ultimate live up the marketing hype, and most importantly, just how effective is it really? Let’s take a close look at it to find out.
Like most of the SuperHD range by Cellucor, Ultimate is designed to help support you as you take responsibility for your body.
The website says that it is an “extreme” supplement designed to help you on your journey.
It combines Caffeine with a number of other ingredients to support you in getting results out of your dieting and training regime.
So the focus of SuperHD Ultimate is to help get you closer to your goals.
Now let’s focus on the actual individual ingredients to determine how effective this product really is.
Let’s start this section by taking a close look at the ingredients label of SuperHD Ultimate.
There is already a red flag from taking a quick glance at this, because SuperHD Ultimate uses a proprietary blend called the “Ultimate Ignite and Fuel Blend”.
In case you’re not familiar with what a proprietary blend is, this is when the manufacturers of a supplement don’t include the individual doses of the ingredients and instant wrap them up in a total ‘blend’.
Put simply, you know what’s in it, but you don’t know how much.
That’s not good, because it makes it very hard to judge the effectiveness of a product if you don’t know how much of each ingredient is included.
With that out of the way, let’s focus on the main ingredients in SuperHD Ultimate.
• Caffeine – One of our favorite ingredients and we’re glad to see this on the label. SuperHD Ultimate uses two sources of Caffeine. Our preferred one is Caffeine Anhydrous. Despite it being part of the blend, Cellucor do actually reveal the total Caffeine dose per serving on their website at 400mg. That’s quite a lot in our opinion and might be too much for some people.
• Cayenne – Another of the leading ingredients in our opinion. It’s commonly used in most of the leading products in this category and it was good to find it in the Cellucor SuperHD Ultimate formula.
• Black Pepper Extract – We always favor supplements which use some form of Black Pepper Extract. It can help to make for a more effective supplement and is commonly used in many similar products.
• DygloFit fruit extract – We’ve not seen this ingredient in any supplements we’ve reviewed before. We’re not too sure what it’s doing in the formula if we’re honest.
There are a few good ingredients in SuperHD Ultimate but there are also quite a lot of our favorite ingredients missing.
Firstly there was is no Green Tea Extract. This is one of our top rated ingredients that is commonly found in products like this.
It was also a shame not to see any Glucomannan on the label. This is a natural dietary fiber which is also commonly added to supplements like this.

The main thing to be wary of when it comes to supplements like this is stimulant content.
SuperHD Ultimate contains 400mg of Caffeine in total per serving, which is too much in our opinion.
Caffeine is well-known to cause side effects when consumed in big doses, so the higher the dose per serving, the more likely you are to suffer from them.
We would say that you don’t need more than 300mg of Caffeine per serving when it comes to a supplement, especially as most people already get Caffeine from other sources such as coffee on a daily basis.
We always recommend closely checking the label before taking any supplement for the first time, to make sure that you’re not allergic to any of the ingredients.
It’s also always a good idea to speak to your doctor before thinking about taking any new supplement for the first time.
Each bottle of SuperHD Ultimate contains 60 capsules. That means that one bottle should last around a month if you stick to the recommended dose.
The instructions state that you should take two capsules together once a day, either with breakfast or with lunch.
Because of the significant Caffeine content, there’s a warning saying not to take this product within six hours of bedtime.
We generally prefer supplements that require you to take them more than once a day because that means that your body is getting a constant source of the ingredients.
Once a day doesn’t really cut it in our opinion.
We checked on Amazon to see the latest reviews of Cellucor SuperHD Ultimate.
At the time of publishing this post, it had an average rating of 3.8 stars out of 5. However, most of these reviews were of Cellucor’s C4 pre workout powder, so we’re not sure this score is relevant.
We found some more reviews on the GNC website, where it had an average rating of 2 out of five stars.
One customer said that it worked great for them as a supplement.
However, someone else said that it had “no effects” and that they were returning the product.
Another customer simply said that it wasn’t worth the money and told other people not to buy it.
Definitely not. We’re not a big fan of this product, mainly because it uses a proprietary blend and is missing a lot of our favorite ingredients.

We’ve said this many times before, but we always recommend that you get your diet and training plan on point before taking any supplement for the first time.
There’s no miracle pill when it comes to getting into shape. You’ll need to make sure that your eating right, training hard and getting plenty of rest first.
That being said, if you are looking for something to help you, a quality supplement can help to support you on your journey.
However, it will not do the hard work for you.
So that concludes our review of SuperHD Ultimate by Cellucor.
Overall, we’re not huge fans of this product because it uses a proprietary blend, is overloaded with stimulants, and doesn’t use some of our favorite ingredients.
We feel that there are some much better choices on the market right now.
