With flavours including White Chocolate & Coconut and Salted Caramel, and a melt in the mouth texture, Dr Zak’s new peanut spreads taste delicious irrespective of the fact they are also jammed full of high quality protein.
Alongside their great taste and high protein content, Dr Zak’s Peanut Spreads’ other credentials also stack up. They’re free from palm oil and artificial sweeteners, Vegetarian Society approved and use next generation partially-hydrolysed whey protein isolate, which means it’s easier and faster for your body to absorb the 36g of protein each 100g of the nut butter contains.
Furthermore the spreads aren’t an American import and are made fresh each week here on UK soil by one of the country’s leading protein food companies.
Here is a review of five of Dr Zak’s leading peanut spreads that can transform your protein supplementation and keep you fuelled before and after workouts.
This was the flavour which immediately caught the eye because who doesn’t love salted caramel! Dr Zak’s found the ultimate high protein spread for our money with this flavour. It is a must for peanut butter lovers. 9/10
This was the surprise package of the flavours. At first, we weren’t convinced by the combination but after a couple of times using it on protein bagels or protein waffles, it ultimately proved a big favourite. Incidentally, one of Dr Zak’s most popular flavours online, too. 8/10
This was another flavour which stood out in the Dr Zak’s range. While it was very good, the cherry bakewell taste wasn’t as strong as anticipated which was a slight disappointment. However, the flavour is perfect for protein pancakes. 7/10
We liked Fresh Raspberry because the taste of the real peanut isn’t masked by an overwhelming synthetic fruit taste. You can really taste the real rich peanut flavour, while the raspberry flavour leaves a nice lasting after taste. 8/10
Like the Apple and Cinnamon flavour, White Chocolate and Coconut didn’t convince on first tasting. However, after regular use over the next few weeks, it soon became a firm favourite. 8/10
