I use almond milk mainly but there are other substitutes such as hemp, rice etc which are also worth trying.
The Swedish glace is a really good vegan vanilla ice cream alternative. Also, if you freeze bananas and put them in an ice cream maker, you are left with another great dairy ice cream alternative.
There are some great meat alternatives on the market if you still want a “meaty” flavour, such as Linda McCartney sausages, veggie burgers and soy-based “chicken”.
There are a number of margarines on the market that work just as well as butter but watch out because not all margarines are vegan so always check the label
GO VEGAN produce a good mayonnaise substitute but you can make your own with vegan recipes found online or in vegan cookbooks which usually turn out tasting better anyway.
