Grenade Black Ops Review

Grenade Black Ops is a ‘weight management’ supplement sold both online and in a select number of shops.

Available to buy at: www.amazon.co.uk

The Grenade brand of supplements has been around for quite a few years now, and their products are sold in both the UK and the US. Grenade are perhaps most famous for their Thermo Detonator supplement, which is part of the same range as Black Ops.

Supplements in this category have a bit of a bad reputation, partly because many of them are aggressively marketed as products that will work wonders without any effort on your part. This, of course, is not the case.

It’s widely accepted that the main proven way to lose fat is to stick to a (sensible and well-managed) diet and exercise regimen in which you’re burning slightly more calories than you’re consuming. In other words, it’s about keeping in a slight calorie deficit over time.

So-called ‘fat burner’ supplements are generally not proven to ‘burn’ fat on their own. Rather, they can provide a range of ingredients such as vitamins, minerals and plant extracts, each of which may (or may not) bring some benefits and support on your health and fitness journey.

In this article, we’re going to take a detailed look at Grenade Black Ops, focusing on the facts about this supplement. We’re going to pay particularly close attention to the ingredients, their doses and the directions that come with the product.

So, with the introductions out of the way, let’s start taking a closer look at the Black Ops supplement made by Grenade.

Grenade Black Ops – The Basics

Grenade are a big name in the supplements industry and their products have been around for a few years now.

They are possibly best know for their ‘Thermo Detonator’ supplement, as well as their ‘Carb Killa’ protein bars.

Grenade Black Ops certainly stands out with its branding. The supplement comes packaged in a ‘grenade’ shaped black bottle, with the box featuring lime green and black branding. The capsules themselves are black in colour and feature the branding ‘Grenade’ written on them in white.

The product description shown on the Grenade UK website at the time of writing said that this supplement is an “elite weight management system” that has a “unique” effect.

The official website explains that Black Ops is “predominantly” aimed at the male market, and that it has a “shorter duration” than the Thermo Detonator version of their supplement.

The description on the official Grenade site also says that this supplement can be paired with High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT).

On Amazon.co.uk, the product description for Grenade Black Ops says that this supplement features “key ingredients” to help support your health and fitness goals.

Grenade Black Ops contains a total of 11 different active ingredients, ranging from vitamins and trace elements, to plant extracts such as Green Tea and Cayenne Pepper.

So, now that we’ve covered the basic things we need to know about Grenade Black Ops, it’s time to take a closer look at the actual ingredients and their doses.

The Ingredients

As we mentioned above, the Grenade Black Ops formula (correct at the time of writing) contains 11 different active ingredients. They are:

• Niacin
• Vitamin B6
• Chromium
• Microencapsulated Caffeine
• Taurine
• Cayenne
• Choline
• Green Tea
• Theobroma Cacao
• Blue Green Algae
• Bioperine (Black Pepper Extract)

You can probably see for yourself that Grenade Black Ops contains some familiar ingredients, but also some that you may not have come across before.

The main ingredient in the Black Ops formula is Microencapsulated Caffeine. Each two capsules of Black Ops contains 275mg of this form of Caffeine.

This is quite a lot of Caffeine, and amounts to 137.5mg of Caffeine per capsule. To put that into context, you’d expect to find around 100mg of Caffeine in a strong cup of coffee.

Too much Caffeine can cause problems for some people, so it’s key that you keep track of your total Caffeine intake from all sources, and speak to your doctor before taking a supplement like this.

Niacin, also know as Vitamin B3, contributes to normal energy release and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, amongst other things. Meanwhile, Vitamin B6 also contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

Chromium is a trace element that the body needs in small amounts, and it contributes to normal macronutrient metabolism and the maintenance of normal blood glucose levels. Choline, meanwhile, contributes to normal lipid (fat) metabolism, so you can see why it has been included in the Black Ops formula.

Other ingredients in the Black Ops formula (per two capsules) include Green Tea (100mg per serving), Cayenne (250mg per serving) and Taurine (275mg per serving).

Aside from the active ingredients, Black Ops also uses Gelatine for its capsule. This means that this supplement is not suitable for Vegans or Vegetarians.

Price and Where To Buy

At the time of writing, one bottle of Grenade Black Ops containing 44 capsules, cost around £15. There is also a bigger sized bottle that contains 100 capsules and costs about £25.

You can buy Grenade Black Ops on Amazon.co.uk, and it’s also available in a few shops, such as Holland and Barrett in the UK.

Side Effects

It’s important that you speak to your doctor or a certified medical professional before taking any new supplement or making any major lifestyle changes.

One important thing to consider when it comes to Grenade Black Ops is the significant Caffeine content. Each capsule contains around 137.5mg of Caffeine, and this is significant.

If you are sensitive to stimulants or have problems with Caffeine, then this is probably not the right supplement for you.
