It is a big assertion considering the saturated market that they are competing in, but this second generation Huawei TalkBand product can hold its own.
Design: Embracing simplicity, the Talkband B2 boasts a metal body of high strength, lightweight aviation aluminium material and an intuitive, user-friendly HD touch screen. Huawei proudly boast that the robust black TPU material caters to every occasion.
Features: Equipped with an advanced 6-asxix sensor, the TalkBand B2 is able to automatically recognise and record motions accurately, such as running, cycling or walking. As well as intelligently tracking movement, the Huawei B2 is capable of detecting the duration of deep sleep and light sleep providing you with health tips on ways to improve your sleep pattern and improve your health. The B2 is equipped with the highest quality smart detection capabilities as well as a pager to search and locate your smartphone, regardless of the phone model, through vibration or ring tone alerts.
Battery life: The Huawei TalkBand B2 claims to have superb battery performance allowing it to operate for up to five days. However, it doesn’t quite live up to its billing and requires a charge every three days or so.
Review: The Huawei TalkBand B2 is a useful device to keep tabs your daily exercise. When on the wrist, it is lightweight and fits snugly. You can easily forget it’s even there. However, there are a number of negative points. The screen can be awkward to use and it can take several sweeps of a finger to go through running distance, sleep time, calories burned and total steps. The strap is flimsy, too. If you’re a regular in the gym, it can catch on your clothes during a workout, causing the strap to pop open and fall off your wrist. While Huawei can hold its own, for the price, consumers would expect a little more.
