In this review article, we’re going to take a close look at the specific ingredients in Hypershred Edge, have a look at some customer reviews to help you decide whether this product could be right for you.
Hypershred Edge is described as being a ‘fat metabolising formula’ to help you achieve your goals.
It has a number of ingredients which are claimed to have various health benefits.
Some of the key parts of Hypershred Edge include things like Green Tea Extract and Cayenne Pepper.
The official website says that Hypershred Edge is designed to help with fat metabolizing, energy and focus.
Those are some significant claims, so let’s take a close look at the ingredients to see if this product lives up to the billing.
There are definitely some good ingredients in this product which have a number of different apparent functions.
That being said, this product is also missing some of our favorite ingredients in a supplement of this category.
Let’s first focus on the main things Hypershred Edge does contain.
Green Tea Extract – This is probably the first thing to look for when checking the ingredient list of a supplement in this category.
Green Tea is very popular these days and it’s great to see it included in extract form in Hypershred Edge.
Caffeine – Another key ingredient we usually look for in supplements of this type.
Caffeine is by far the most popular natural stimulant on the planet, and coffee drinkers will need no introduction to it!
Although we couldn’t find evidence linking caffeine directly with fat loss, we do accept that it is likely to boost your energy levels – and if you’re looking to get into shape by exercising regularly, that’s definitely a good thing.
Cayenne Pepper Extract – This is another key ingredient for a product in this category, so it’s good to see that Hypershred Edge includes Cayenne in some form.
Spicy in nature, Cayenne is often added to supplements in this category to help give you an edge.
Black Pepper Extract – Here’s a tip for you – don’t consider taking any supplement which doesn’t contain black pepper extract in some form or another.
It’s widely known as nature’s bioavailability ingredient, so it’s always a good thing to look for on the label of any supplement.
B Vitamins – These are another key thing often overlooked in supplements of this type, so it’s good to see them included in Hypershred Edge.
B12 contributes to normal functioning of the nervous system, whilst being commonly used to contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
Although the other inclusions of B6 and B5 don’t have any direct ties to fat loss, it’s not a bad thing that they’re included in this product.
Other ingredients – Hypershred Edge has quite a long ingredients list, and the problem with this is that often leads to low doses of the individual elements.
Among the other ingredients are Yerba Mate Extract, Zinc and Cocoa Extract.
As we just explained, we’re a bit worried that the long list of ingredients means that they are only included in small doses.
For example, each serving of Hypershred Edge only contains 50m of Cayenne Pepper extract, while some of the other supplements we found had closer to 100mg.
It was also disappointing to see that Green Coffee bean extract was not included as this is one of our favorite ingredients.
It was a shame to not see Glucomannan on the ingredients list too. It’s a dietary fiber which is commonly added to supplements in this category.
It’s always important to take a close look at the ingredients list to make sure that you’re not allergic to anything in the product.
That being said, this supplement seems to be pretty safe. The one thing to bear in mind is that because of its caffeine content, it could have side effects on some people.
We’d also recommend not taking this product too close to bedtime, as the caffeine content could affect your sleep/wake cycle if you’re not careful. It’s probably best to take it in the morning or the early part of the day.
Each bottle of Hypershred Edge contains 100 capsules. That means that if you stick to the recommended dose of four capsules in total per day, one bottle would last you 25 days.
The website says to take two capsules twice a day (so four in total), ideally with food.
However, they also recommend that new users assess their tolerance to the product by first trying taking just one capsule at a time.
Like we mentioned above, it’s probably best to take this product earlier in the day because of the caffeine content.
There were not a great deal of reviews of Hypershred Edge when we looked online.
However, we did find a lot of comments about BSN’s previous product Hypershred while doing our research.
Some users complained that Hypershred made them feel dizzy, while another suggested that it made them feel as if they were “drunk”.
But there were also some positive reviews, with some users reported having used the product for months and posting positive results.
Not really. Although Hypershred Edge does contain some good ingredients, we feel that there are definitely some better options available out there at the moment.
