Both products contain similar ingredients and claim to do similar things, but which of the two should you pick?
In this comparison article, we’re going to focus on the main factors you need to consider when picking the best so-called ‘fat burner’ supplement. We want to make it easy for you to choose the best product for you.
So, we’ve taken a close look at both Instant Knockout and Burn HD to determine which product is best.
To do this, we’re going to focus on the following five categories:
• Company reputation and product background
• The servings
• The ingredients and dosages
• Side effects
We’re then going to round up our findings and pick a winner between the two products.
If you’re in a hurry and don’t have time to read the below, be sure to check out our pick of the best fat burner supplements on the market right now.
Please note that most of the supplements in this category, including the ones featured on this page, have not been proven to help with fat loss and fat burning.
So, let’s get right down to business and start comparing Instant Knockout to Burn HD.
Let’s start off our comparison by rounding up the important details of both products.
Instant Knockout summary:
• Made by specialist company Roar Ambition
• Designed to support your goals
• Uses Green Tea, Cayenne Pepper and Glucomannan
• Contains Caffeine
• Used by MMA fighters and pro boxers
• Sold directly to consumers from official website
Burn HD summary:
• Marketed by Diet Spotlight
• Designed to support your goals
• Claimed to use an “Advanced Weight Control Formula”
As you can see, these two products are fairly similar in their aims and the way in which they are marketed.
Instant Knockout was originally designed for use by professional boxers and mixed-martial arts fighters as an aid to strip fat before a fight – but it was put on sale to the general public a few years ago.
Burn HD is made by Diet Spotlight and contains three main ingredients to help you achieve your goals.
The good thing about Instant Knockout in this case is that it has been formulated to work in multiple ways. But more on that later.
If you’ve been closely comparing supplements then let us help you out a bit.
Taking a look at the directions section of the label can help tell just how good (or bad) a product is.
Generally speaking, the best products have multiple servings a day, so that your body is constantly being supplied with the ingredients around the clock.
Put simply, any product which has directions that require you to spread your doses out throughout the day is likely to be more effective than a product you only take once or twice a day (because the ingredient doses will be higher).
Each bottle of Instant Knockout contains 120 capsules, which is one month’s supply of four per day.
With Instant Knockout, you take one capsule, four times per day, in between meals.
Each bottle of Burn HD contains 60 capsules, which is one month’s supply of two per day.
The directions say that you should take on capsule of Burn HD twice a day, at least 30 minutes before meals.
In our humble opinion, Instant Knockout wins this round because of the more regular servings of four per day, compared tin two from Burn HD.
Now it’s time to get stuck in to the all important ingredients. Let’s start by taking a close look at the ingredients labels of both products:
As you can see, there are some clear similarities between these two products, but there are also some key differences as well.
The first thing we noticed about Burn HD is that it uses something called a proprietary blend. Burn HD’s Proprietary Blend is called Meratrim.
This is when the manufacturer places a group of ingredients under a fancy named blend. The problem with this is that the individual ingredient doses are hidden, and only the total ‘blend’ value shown.
We really don’t like to see this because it makes it much harder to judge the effectiveness of the product when you don’t know the doses of the individual ingredients. So that’s a negative mark for Burn HD.
Firstly, it was great to see that both products contain Green Tea Extract. This is one of the most popular ingredients in products of this category.
It was also good to see Caffeine used as ingredient. Again, it’s a common ingredient that most people will need no introduction to.
Both Burn HD and Instant Knockout use 75mg of caffeine per capsule.
It was also nice to see both products use Chromium, an essential mineral.
However, Instant Knockout contains far more of our favorite ingredients, including Cayenne Pepper, Glucomannan and Green Coffee Extract.
What’s more, Instant Knockout also clearly lists the doses of each individual ingredient, so you know exactly what is in the capsules you’re taking.
Most modern food supplements are pretty safe because they tend to use natural ingredients. That being said, there are few pitfalls to look out for.
Firstly, you should always check stimulant content. Lots of products we’ve reviewed recently seem to overdo it on the stimulants with ingredients such as caffeine.
Instant Knockout and Burn HD are pretty good when it comes to stimulants, because they both use only 75mg of Caffeine per capsule.
That said, we would definitely not recommend taking either of these products too close to bedtime, as the Caffeine could well affect your sleep.
As mentioned above, the fact that Burn HD uses a proprietary blend makes it more difficult to assess potential side-effects because we’re not sure about some of the individual doses.
We always recommend taking a close look at the ingredients label before taking a product for the first time to make sure that you’re not allergic to any of the substances.
Our final sections focuses on the all important price-tag.
Burn HD is currently priced at $96 / £66 / €76 per bottle. You can get it on the official website and other online retailers such as Amazon.
As you can seen, Instant Knockout is the cheaper product – and by some way too.
These are two premium-priced supplements, no doubt, but we definitely feel that Instant Knockout offers the better value for money overall.
So there we have it, our full comparison of Instant Knockout and Burn HD.
Both of these products are premium supplements, and their price tags underlines this.
However, we feel that Instant Knockout offers the better value for money because it uses more of our favorite ingredients, and also clearly lists the doses of the individual substances on the label.
So, Instant Knockout is the clear winner when compared to Burn HD.
Remember, a supplement is designed to support you on your journey. Making sure that you’re training hard and sticking to a good diet should always come first.
