Instant Knockout or Cellucor Super HD? We’re going to compare these two popular fat burner supplements to deliver our take on which one we think is best.

On the face of it, these may seem like pretty similar supplements, but they’re actually quite different.

The aim of this comparison article is to give you all of the information you need in one place to compare the two products and make the best choice about which one is best for you.

We’re going to focus on the following five categories:

• Company reputation and product background
• The servings
• The ingredients and dosages
• Side effects
• Price

Then, we’ll draw a conclusion and pick which of the products we think is the best.

So, let’s get right into it and start comparing Instant Knockout with Cellucor Super HD.

1) Company reputation and product background

Both Instant Knockout and Cellucor Super HD are two of the most popular fat burner supplements on sale at the moment.

The main difference between the two is that Cellucor Super HD is from lots of different online retailers, while Instant Knockout is currently only available to buy from the manufacturer’s official website.

Here’s what you need to know about the two supplements:

Instant Knockout summary:

• Made by specialist company Roar Ambition
• All natural and drug free
• Promotes thermogenic fat burning
• Increases energy levels
• Enhances focus
• Suppresses appetite
• Used by MMA fighters and pro boxers

Cellucor Super HD summary:

• Made by Cellucor
• Increases energy levels
• Helps with focus
• Promotes fat metabolism and weight loss
• Suppresses appetite

As you can see from the above, these two supplements are pretty similar when it comes to their aims.

They both fit into the wider category of products known as ‘fat burners’, which are supplements designed to help boost your body’s natural ability to burn fat.

Although both products claim to work in similar ways, there is one clear winner when it comes to the ingredients – but more on that later.

We’re picking Instant Knockout as the winner of this round because of the many positive testimonials we found online and the fact that the product was originally developed to help MMA fighters and pro boxers strip fat before a fight.

2) The servings

If you’ve done any research into the best fat burners on sale at the moment, you’ll no doubt have realised just how many products are out there these days.

Luckily, there a few telling clues you can look for when judging whether a supplement is actually going to be effective or not – and one of the is the serving sizes and frequencies.

Generally, your body is going to need a regular supply of the metabolism boosting ingredients if you are to succeed on your fat loss journey.

Each bottle of Instant Knockout contains 120 capsules, which is one month’s supply of four per day.

Each bottle of Cellucor Super HD contains 60 capsules, which is one month’s supply of two per day.

As you can see, although both bottles contain one month’s supply, you’re actually going to be taking double the number of capsules with Instant Knockout.

This is a good sign, because lots of the supplements we’ve reviewed – although they contain good ingredients – end up being under-dosed because they simply do not offer enough of the nutrients in the servings.

With Instant Knockout’s directions – you take one capsule, four times a day between meals.

With Cellucor Super HD’s directions, you take one capsule, twice a day.

We’re picking Instant Knockout as the winner of this round because the servings suggest that you’re going to be getting much more of the important ingredients into your system.

3) The ingredients and dosages

Next up in our comparison is the ingredients and dosages within each supplement.

First, let’s start by comparing the two labels to see what is exactly in both products:

instant knockout vs cellucor hd

The first thing we noticed when checking out the ingredients was that Cellucor Super HD uses something called ‘proprietary blends’. This is when the manufacturer of the supplements opts to hide the individual doses of the ingredients within its own ‘blend’.

We don’t like this because it obviously makes it difficult to be able to assess the true effectiveness of the product.

Here’s our breakdown of our top fat burning ingredients in both supplements:

Instant Knockout’s top ingredients:

• Caffeine Anhydrous – Energy and metabolism booster
• Green Tea Extract – Natural thermogenic
• Cayenne Powder – Thermogenic and appetite suppressant
• Green Coffee Bean Extract – Thermogenic
• Glucomannan – Our favourite natural appetite suppressant
• Chromium – Boosts metabolism
• Black Pepper Extract – Absorption of ingredients

Cellucor Super HD’s top ingredients:

• Green Tea Extract – Natural thermogenic
• Caffeine Anhydrous – Energy and metabolism booster
• Cayenne (as Capsimax) – Thermogenic and appetite suppressant

As you can see from the comparison above, Instant Knockout largely contains more of our favourite fat burning ingredients than Cellucor Super HD.

It’s also disappointing that we don’t know the actual amounts of the ingredients in Super HD, apart from Caffeine Anhydrous, which is 160mg per serving.

Super HD doesn’t contain Glucomannan, which is one of our favorite appetite suppressing ingredients.

One saving grace for Super HD is that it does feature Vitamins B6 and B12, which are good ingredients for a fat burner.

But this round has to also go to Instant Knockout because of its clearly superior and more transparent ingredients list.

Instant Knockout wins round three

Instant Knockout: 3 | Cellucor Super HD: 0

4) Side effects

Next up is safety. You want to be completely sure that what you’re taking is 100 per cent safe, legal and that it doesn’t contain any risky ingredients.

Thankfully, supplements in this category are largely considered to be pretty safe.

The main issue we’ve found that you must bear in mind before trying a supplement like this is the caffeine content, as some of them have a lot.

Instant Knockout contains slightly less caffeine per serving (four capsules) at 300mg, compared to Cellucor Super HD total daily serving (two capsules) 320mg.

With both of these supplements, we’d recommend not taking them too close to bedtime, as the caffeine could affect your sleep.

The main thing we’d recommend before trying a supplement for the first time is to read up on the individual ingredients and make sure that you’re not going to be allergic to any of them.

We’re going to side with Instant Knockout in this category, because it contains slightly less caffeine and because we can’t tell how big the doses of the other ingredients are.

5) Price

And finally, let’s take a look at the all-important price tag.

Which of these two supplements offers more bang for your buck?

Instant Knockout is currently priced at $59 / £35 / €45 and you can only buy it from the official website.

Cellucor Super HD is currently priced at $22 / £17 / €19 for a bottle containing 60 capsules, and you can buy it from a few different online outlets, including Amazon.

Clearly, Super HD is the cheaper product of the two, even though each bottle contains half the number of capsules in Instant Knockout.

The only way Instant Knockout can compete is through the multi-box deal on their website, where you buy three bottles and get one free, which works out at around $46 per bottle with free worldwide shipping.

But this round definitely goes to Cellucor Super HD.

Cellucor Super HD wins round five

Instant Knockout: 4 | Cellucor Super HD: 1

Conclusion – our final thoughts and recommendation

So, it’s a pretty solid win for Instant Knockout when compared to Cellucor Super HD in our opinion.

In summary, here’s why we think Instant Knockout is the better option out of the two:

Instant Knockout:

• Quality, effective ingredients
• Good testimonials and results
• 90-day money-back guarantee
• Used by MMA fighters and pro boxers
• No side effects
• A market leader

• More expensive of the two

Cellucor Super HD:

• Some good ingredients
• Cheaper product
• Uses a proprietary blend
• Missing some our favorite ingredients

We’ve selected Instant Knockout as the clear winner when compared to Cellucor Super HD because of its superior ingredients and doses.
