Instant Knockout or Hunter Burn? If you’re asking this question, then the chances are that you want to pick between these two so-called ‘fat burner’ supplements.

Both of these supplements are made by a company called Roar Ambition and they have a few things in common, including plenty of crossover when it comes to their ingredients formulas.

Before we get into the detail about Instant Knockout and Hunter Burn, it’s important to remember the basics when it comes to products in this category, as they can have a bit of a bad reputation.

It’s widely accepted that the main proven way to lose fat is to stick to a (sensible and well-managed) diet and exercise regimen in which you’re burning slightly more calories than you’re consuming. In other words, it’s about keeping in a slight calorie deficit over time.

So-called ‘fat burner’ supplements are generally not proven to ‘burn’ fat on their own. Rather, they can provide a range of ingredients such as vitamins, minerals and plant extracts, each of which may (or may not) bring some benefits and support on your health and fitness journey.

The purpose of this comparison article is for us to take a detailed look at both Instant Knockout and Hunter Burn to see where they stand in a crowded supplement market.

We’re going to be paying particularly close attention to the facts about both supplements – namely, the ingredients and their doses, the directions and the price.

So, with the introductions out of the way, let’s now start taking a closer look at both Instant Knockout and Hunter Burn in a bit more detail.

As you can probably see for yourself from the comparisons above, these supplements both have some things in common, but also have some differences too.

For example, Instant Knockout is marketed at both men and women, while Hunter Burn is aimed mainly at men.

Instant Knockout also uses Caffeine as one of its main active ingredients, while Hunter Burn doesn’t.

Both Instant Knockout and Hunter Burn use vitamins and plant extracts in their formulas, and we’ll get into more detail about both of the formulas of these two supplements in the next section.

One other major difference between the two products is the price tag. Instant Knockout carries a mid-range price tag, while Hunter Burn is certainly one of the more premium-priced supplements available in this category.

Hunter Burn also contains more capsules per bottle, at 180 compared to Instant Knockout’s 120.

There are some similarities between these two supplements, though. They are both made by the supplements company Roar Ambition, and they are both available only to buy from their respective official websites.

The Ingredients

When choosing a supplement, the most important factor to consider is usually the ingredients.

So, let’s now take a closer look at the ingredients formulas of both Instant Knockout and Hunter Burn.

Instant Knockout:

• Vitamins B6 and B12
• Zinc
• Chromium
• Green Tea Extract
• Green Coffee Extract
• Cayenne Powder
• Glucomannan
• Caffeine (300mg per daily serving)
• Black Pepper Extract

Hunter Burn:

Hunter Burn

As you can see for yourself, there is some crossover in terms of the ingredients, but there are some quite big differences too.

Firstly, while Instant Knockout contains 10 active ingredients, Hunter Burn only uses six.

Editor's note: The health claims about the ingredients mentioned in this article are listed as authorised on the EU Register at the time of publishing.

Instant Knockout also uses Caffeine Anhydrous (75mg per capsule) as one of its main ingredients. This is common in supplements in this category, but some people may prefer a product that doesn’t use pure Caffeine in its ingredients formula.

Hunter Burn does not use Caffeine as one of its main active ingredients, instead it relies on the Matcha Green Tea Extract as a secondary source of Caffeine. Hunter Burn contains 200mg of Matcha Green Tea per six capsules, which works out at about 34mg per capsule.

The Caffeine content in each capsule of Hunter Burn is therefore likely to be less than 34mg per capsule, which is significantly less than Instant Knockout.

Both supplements use Glucomannan and Cayenne Pepper as two of their main ingredients.

The important difference in the use of Glucomannan in Hunter Burn is the size of the dose. Each daily serving of Hunter Burn contains 3g of Glucomannan (split into three separate 1g servings per day) and this contributes to weight loss in the context of an energy-restricted diet.

Instant Knockout, on the other hand, contains 1.8g of Glucomannan per daily serving, and this amount is not enough to be able to make the same claim.

Hunter Burn contains Vitamin D3 and L-Theanine, while Instant Knockout uses Green Coffee Bean Extract, along with Vitamins B6 and B12, and the essential mineral Zinc.

All in all, although there are some similarities between Instant Knockout and Hunter Burn, the ingredients formulas are pretty different.

The main difference is that Hunter Burn contains fewer ingredients and a bigger dose of Glucomannan, which is more likely to be effective.

The Directions

It’s important to carefully check the label of any product you’re thinking of buying and read the instructions and the warnings.

Let’s now take a look at the recommended directions and instructions of both supplements.

One bottle of Instant Knockout contains 120 capsules, which is the equivalent of a 30-day supply.

One bottle of Hunter Burn contains 180 capsules, which is the equivalent of a 30-day supply.

The directions of Instant Knockout say that you should take one capsule, four times per day, with a glass of water, spread evenly throughout the day (four capsules per day in total).

The directions for Hunter Burn say that you should take two capsules, three times per day, with a big glass of water (six capsules per day in total).

So you can see that both of these supplements have slightly different directions. Hunter Burn contains more capsules and requires you to take six per day, while Instant Knockout requires you to take four per day in total.

It’s important to note that because of the Caffeine content in both of these products (albeit significantly more in Instant Knockout), it’s probably not a good idea to take these supplements within six hours of going to sleep.

The Price

Let’s now check out the all-important price tags of both products.

Instant Knockout currently costs £35 / $59 / €45 per bottle.

Hunter Burn currently costs £55 / $75 / €65 per bottle.

As you can see, Hunter Burn is significantly more expensive than Instant Knockout. The whole Hunter range of supplements is marketed as a ‘premium’ offering from Roar Ambition.

The difference in price can also be partly explained by the fact that each bottle of Hunter Burn contains 180 capsules, which is 60 more than Instant Knockout’s 120.

You can save money on the price per bottle on both of these supplements if you’re willing to commit to buying more than one at a time from the official websites.

Side Effects

As always, we strongly recommend that you speak to a certified medical professional before taking a new supplement or making any major lifestyle changes.

You should not take either of these supplements if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or under the age of 18. You should also not use either of these supplements before first speaking to your doctor if you have an underlying medical condition or are taking any medication.

As mentioned above, Instant Knockout contains 75mg of Caffeine per capsule. Meanwhile, Hunter Burn also uses Caffeine from Matcha Green Tea Extract.

It may be best to avoid these products if you are sensitive to stimulants, or are consuming a significant amount of Caffeine from other sources.

It’s always a good idea to read up about the ingredients contained in any product you’re thinking about, and remember that supplements are not intended to be used as a substitute for a varied diet and healthy lifestyle.

Wrapping Things Up – Our Final Thoughts

That brings us to the end of our Instant Knockout and Hunter Burn comparison article.

We’ve brought you all of the important things you need to know about both of these supplements, including the ingredients, the doses, the prices and the directions.

The main differences between the two products are that Instant Knockout uses Caffeine as a pure ingredient and is aimed at both men and women.

Hunter Burn, meanwhile, sources its Caffeine from a Matcha Green Tea Extract. Hunter Burn contains more capsules per bottle, and a higher dose of the dietary fiber Glucomannan, and carries a premium price tag compared to Instant Knockout.
