NXT Nutrition Nuclear Burn Review
Nuclear Burn is a fat burner made by NXT Nutrition Photo: The Sport Review

We’re always eager to hear about the latest fat burner supplements to hit the market, and TNT Nuclear Burn by NXT Nutrition was the latest product to arrive at our door.

It’s marketed as a supplement designed to help you lose weight by boosting your metabolism and giving you extra energy.

There are so many fat burner supplements on the market these days that it can quickly become hard to try and find the best one.

Well, luckily for you, we’ve done all the hard work for you by breaking down Nuclear Burn to help you decide if it’s the right supplement for you, or if you should look elsewhere.

So, let’s start our NXT Nutrition Nuclear Burn review by examining the basic facts behind this supplement.

What does Nuclear Burn do?

Nuclear Burn is marketed as a fat burner. This essentially means that it’s designed to help get your body burning more fat naturally.

According to the official website, Nuclear Burn will help you to:

• Lose body fat
• Boost energy
• Suppress appetite

This sounds good to us. The best fat burners always use more than one approach to help you to lose weight.

It’s important to choose a product which offers multi-action fat attack.

Burning more fat is a tough ask of your body, so you’ll want to make sure that you’re attacking it from all angles.

Whether Nuclear Burn can actually live up to the marketing hype is a whole different question, however. So many products we’ve tried make bold claims but their poor formulas let them down.

So, let’s continue our Nuclear Burn review by taking a close look at the ingredients this supplement uses.

What you need to know about the ingredients

Let’s kick off this important section by taking a close look at the ingredients label of Nuclear Burn.

Nuclear Burn NXT Ingredients

As you can see for yourself, Nuclear Burn uses nine main ingredients to help you burn more fat. Let’s take a look at the main ones:

• Caffeine – The building block of any good fat burner supplement. Not only can it help to boost metabolism, but it also helps to raise energy levels and even suppress appetite a little.

• Green Tea Extract – Another top ingredient. We rate Green Tea Extract as one of the prime natural fat burner ingredients because its a potent thermogenic which is also packed full of antioxidants. It’s great to see it included in the formula.

• Rhodia Rosea – This is an interesting inclusion because we’ve seen it much more regularly in pre workout supplements than fat burners. It’s a herb that can help to boost cognition and overall mood. Not a bad effect, but not linked directly with fat burning.

• Garcinia Cambogia – This is an extract from a tropical species of Garcinia native to Indonesia. We have to say, we’re not too sure about it as a fat burner ingredient. We’ve seen it used in a few products but the best supplements on the market don’t use it. It’s key ingredient is hydroxycitric acid, which is thought to help some people lose weight. NXT say they’ve included it to help suppress appetite.

• Octadrine – This was originally used as drug for nasal congestion. Nowadays, it’s found in health and fitness supplements. There’s not much information about where it comes from, with some suggestions that it’s not natural and is made in a laboratory. We’re not too sure about this particular ingredient.

As you can see for yourself, Nuclear Burn uses a range of ingredients, but these are the main ones.

What’s missing?

As we alluded to above, we’d prefer to have seen Nuclear Burn use some better proven fat burner ingredients rather than some of their choices.

There are quite a lot of our favorite fat burner ingredients missing from this product.

Firstly, there was no Cayenne Pepper in this product. We rate this alongside Green Tea Extract as one of the top two fat burner ingredients.

Cayenne works to help boost your metabolism, but it also works as an appetite suppressant to help make sticking to your diet easier.

It was also a shame not to find any Glucomannan on the label. Another of our top-rated fat burner ingredients, Glucomannan is a natural dietary fiber which swells in your stomach to help make sticking to your diet easier.

There were also a few other of the best fat burner ingredients missing from this product. Firstly, there was no Green Coffee Bean Extract, and there were also some other things not included, such as Chromium and Black Pepper Extact, which helps with absorption of other nutrients.

Are there any side effects?

Generally, fat burner supplements tend to be pretty safe, especially if they use only natural ingredients.

The main thing to look out for when it comes to fat burners is the overuse of stimulants.

So many products we’ve tried overdo it with things like Caffeine, and that’s only going to cause negative side effects such as the jitters or energy crashes later in the day.

Each two capsule serving of Nuclear Burn contains 150mg of Caffeine. That’s a reasonable amount and shouldn’t bring on any side effects in most people.

We do always recommend testing with small doses yourself, however.

How to take Nuclear Burn

Each bottle of Nuclear Burn contains 120 capsules.

That means that if you stick to the maximum recommended dose of four capsules per day, one bottle will last you for 30 days.

The directions on the label for taking this product are a little strange in our opinion.

There are two options: a ‘normal’ dose or a ‘nuclear’ dose.

The normal dose says that you should take one capsule up to two times per day.

The nuclear dose says that you should take two capsules up to two times per day, but this is only for ‘advanced’ users.

We’re not huge fans of this. It’s much better to find a supplement which requires you to take it a regular intervals (minimum of three) throughout the day.

This ensures that your body is consistently supplied with the fuel it needs to burn more fat.

What are customers saying?

There were no reviews of Nuclear Burn on the official website, which we found a little bit strange.

In fact, the only customer review we found online was on an Irish fitness website.

They said that it was a “really strong” fat burner and claimed it worked really well for them.

We found it quite strange that there were not more customer reviews online. We’d prefer to see a few more before considering taking this supplement on a long-term basis.

Is this the best fat burner?

Not in our humble opinion. Yes, Nuclear Burn does tick a few boxes for a fat burner by using solid ingredients such as Green Tea Extract and Caffeine, we feel that it’s let down by the fact that it doesn’t use some of the best fat burner ingredients.

Anything else to consider?

As we always like to remind our readers, when it comes to the best fitness supplements there is no ‘magic pill’ to help you get your dream body.

You’ll have to make sure that you’re both eating right and training hard first to seen noticeable results.

Having said that, if you have got your diet and training regime on point, a quality fat burner can make a huge difference to your results – and quickly too.

Review conclusion – our final thoughts

So that concludes our NXT Nutrition Nuclear Burn review.

Overall, we think that this is an OK product but there are plenty of better options on the market right now.

We feel that it’s been let down by the fact that it is missing some key ingredients such as Cayenne Pepper and Glucomannan, and it seems strange that there are not many reviews of this product online.

In conclusion, we feel that there are some other much better fat burners on sale right now.
