The manufacturers claim that it’s one of the most powerful pre workout supplements on sale right now.
Indeed, the label claims it can help to produce benefits to help support you as you look to hit your fitness goals.
The product has also been formulated to work in multiple ways so that you can hit your goals.
The purpose of this review article is for us to take a close look at this product, breaking down the ingredients, checking out real customer feedback and then seeing whether it makes our list of the best five pre workout supplements on sale at the moment.
So, with all of that out of the way, let’s get right down to business and start seeing whether this product is all it’s cracked up to be by kicking off our Shatter SX-7 review.
As you’ve probably already gathered, Shatter SX-7 MuscleTech is a pre workout supplement designed to help you as you look to hit your fitness goals.
It contains a number of interesting ingredients (more on that below) to help as you look to work hard in the gym.
The label proudly declares that this pre workout delivers an “unparalleled sensory experience”, which certainly sounds like quite something.
Let’s get into the details now by taking a close look at the ingredients in the next section.
Shatter SX-7 MuscleTech definitely wins the award for the pre workout with the best-sounding ingredients.
From grains of paradise seed powder and sacred lots seed extract to holy basil leaf extract, the ingredients list is like no other pre workout we’ve seen before!
But how seriously should we take this product? Let’s take a close look at the top ingredients.
• Caffeine Anhydrous – A golden oldie, but this is one of our favorite pre workout ingredients. It’s a good ingredient in the formula and we were pleased to see it on the label. Shatter SX-7 MuscleTech contains 160mg per serving which is just more than our recommended dose of 150mg. Still, it’s a good inclusion and the dose is pretty good in our opinion.
• Beta-Alanine – We’ve found this to be one of the most popular pre workout ingredients in supplements these days, even though we don’t actually recommend it as one of our top ones. It’s a naturally occurring beta amino acid.
• Adenosine 5’-Triphosphate (ATP) Disodium – Again this is not one of our top pre workout ingredient picks but we can see why it’s been included, because it has been claimed to help with certain things.
• Nutmeg Seed Extract – We have to admit, we haven’t seen this ingredient many times before in pre workout supplements. MuscleTech say that it’s been included in Shatter SX-7 because it contains myristicin. We’re not so sure about this one, if we’re being perfectly honest with you.

Although Shatter SX-7 MuscleTech definitely has some good things on its ingredients list, it’s also missing most of our top picks of the best pre workout ingredients.
Firstly, we were a bit disappointed not to find Creatine on the ingredients list in some form. Most people know about Creatine as a post-workout supplement, but it’s also great pre workout. It was a shame not to find any in the formula.
It was also a shame not to see any L-Theanine on the ingredients list. L-Theanine is an amino acid extract from tea leaves and is often paired with Caffeine in the same supplement. It was another disappointing omission.
L-Citrulline DL-Malate was also missing. It’s one of the top ingredients and is usually found in the leading supplements in this category.

Most pre workout supplements on sale these days are pretty safe, because they tend only to include common ingredients.
The main problem we’ve come across when sampling the most popular products is that a lot of them tend to overdo it on the stimulant front.
It’s all very well providing a big dose of caffeine, but not if it means it causes the jitters and leads to energy crashes later in the day.
Shatter SX-7 MuscleTech contains a solid dose of 160mg of Caffeine Anhydrous per serving, which is a good amount in our opinion. (If you work out in the evening, this is probably not the right supplement for you).
In terms of other side effects, we definitely recommend doing your own research into each individual ingredient, as they are not the most popular ones around.
For example, we read that Nutmeg could cause problems.
We recommend speaking to your doctor before taking any new supplement for the first time.
Each tub of Shatter SX-7 MuscleTech is just more than 290 grams, and provides 50 servings.
It’s currently available in a number of different flavors, including Orange, Fruit Punch Blast and Watermelon Fusion.
The directions say that you should mix one scoop (6g) with a glass of water, and drink it 20-30 minutes before starting your workout.
We recommend experimenting with this supplement to see how long it takes for it to ‘kick in’ for you, and then time your dose accordingly with your training plan.
We found lots of reviews of Shatter SX-7 on Amazon. At the time of writing this article, there were 81% positive reviews on Amazon, with only 19% negative.
One customer said that it was the first MuscleTech product that they had tried and that it was high quality and tasted great.
Someone else said that it gave them “awesome” energy and a rush of focus before their intense workout sessions.
But one user said that they couldn’t “tell” that they’d taken anything and that it didn’t help with muscle pumps.
It’s clearly a popular choice, but it’s not our top pick of the best pre workouts on the market right now.
We recently compiled an in-depth guide for selecting the best pre workout supplement. Click on the link below to check it out.
Remember that a pre workout supplement is not going to do the hard work for you.
