In this review article, we’re going to take a close look at the ingredients in Shredz Fat Burner, check out some customer reviews and compare it to some other products on the market.
So let’s get down to business and start our Shredz Burner review with the basics.
‘Fat Burners’ are supplements that are designed to boost your body’s natural ability to burn fat by converting it into an energy source.
Shredz claims to be using only the highest quality ingredients available at doses that are clinically shown to be effective. They state that Shredz Burner is a nutritional supplement that helps to burn fat and provide clean energy without any jittery side effects.
This supplement accomplishes this by creating a thermogenic effect in your body that helps you get you ripped and lean, while also providing intense mental focus.
Let’s take a close look at the ingredients in Shredz Burner to see where it stands.
We’ve had a good look at what’s on the label and found a bit of a mixed bag, Shredz burner for women definitely includes some of the best fat burning ingredients out there, but there’s also some really good ones that have been left out.
Let’s take a closer look at the ingredient list.
Green Tea Leaf Extract – This is a really important ingredient that we consider really key for any fat burner supplement.
Green Tea has been in favour with the fitness industry for quite a while now and you’ll find it in a host of different supplements.
Green Tea Extract includes natural antioxidants but it also has thermogenic properties, meaning that it can help give your body the spark it needs to burn more calories.
Shredz contains 62.5mg per serving which is a little low in our opinion.
Cayenne Powder – Another popular ingredient for a supplement in this category and it’s good to see it included in Shredz Fat Burner.
Cayenne is a powerful thermogenic which can give your metabolism a sharp kick.
Due to its spicy nature Cayenne can raise your body temperature, meaning that it needs to burn more calories as it cools down again.
We’re pleased that Beyond Genetics Supplements have included it in Shredz Fat Burner. It’s definitely one of our favourite ingredients for a supplement of this type.
Caffeine Anhydrous – Shredz Fat Burner contains 135mg per serving.
Caffeine is definitely a top ingredient when it comes to weight loss and it’s present in a lot fat burners, it can help to boost energy levels as well as keep you feeling alert.
Although it is believed to have some effect on metabolism, we consider the main advantage of caffeine in a supplement like this is that it will help you feel energised before hitting the gym or general exercise.
If you’re not a fan too many stimulants then the high caffeine content with this supplement may be a little much.
Cacao Seed Extract – The effective ingredient here is Theobromine which is a bitter alkaloid of the cocoa plant and can be found in chocolate, tea leaves and the cola nut. It is not often found in fat burning supplements.
Theobromine is used in medicine to extend the blood vessels and as a heart stimulant.
It’s structurally similar to caffeine and present naturally in cocoa and chocolate, theobromine also has stimulant effects – although less potent than caffeine.
To our knowledge, no studies have been performed on this compound to show it’s particularly effective when it comes to weight loss.
Acetyl L Carnitine – This helps the body transport dietary fat into cells, so they can burn the fat for energy.
In theory, this should help the body burn more calories and fat than it normally would.
Versions of L Carnitine have been gracing the labels of fat burners for years based on the argument that it boosts the body’s ability to burn fat for fuel.
The main issue is that Shredz doesn’t seem to include anywhere enough of it for it to be truly effective.
Alpha Lipoic Acid 50mg – ALA is a natural occurring compound in the body and an antioxidant. There is little scientific evidence or research for ALA. Some side effects in rare circumstances can include skin rashes.
Again this is a filler ingredient that’s trending among supplements, but it doesn’t seem to be effective at burning fat.
The Shredz he main thing you should know about these other ingredients are their side effects, which we’ve covered a bit further on.
In total Shredz formula is made up of 17 ingredients, which we actually think is overkill. It also includes a proprietary blend which means some of the doses are hidden, which is never good.
So even though this product has a very substantial ingredient list it is still missing a few of the most effective ones out there.
The main one missing from Shredz female formula is Turmeric, that’s because it’s been shown to inhibit an over production of Estrogen, something that’s really important for women looking to keep the weight off.
We would have also liked to see Glucomannan or Konjac fibre included in some form. That’s because it’s a powerful dietary fibre which has been shown to reduce snacking and emotional eating.
It was also disappointing to see that there was no Black Pepper Extract. This is not directly linked with fat loss but it will make sure that your body is absorbing as much from the other ingredients as possible.
Vitamin B and Chromium were also notable absentees from this product which was a shame because we feel that they are crucial in these kinds of supplements.
Most people are unlikely to see any issues when taking these types of products, although women can definitely be more susceptible to products with a high stimulant content.
We always recommend checking the label carefully before deciding whether you think the formula is appropriate for you.
Shredz does contain a couple of stimulants, Theobromine and Synephrine, which if dosed high enough can cause well known side effects such as head aches and difficulty sleeping. It also contains Yohimbe that may in rare cases cause an irregular heartbeat.
The caffeine content is also something to bear in mind, if you’re a coffee drinker you may have to regulate your intake with this one to make sure you don’t overdo it.
Each bottle of Shredz Burner for Women contains 60 capsules. That means that if you take the recommended dose of two capsules per day, one bottle would last you 30 days.
The label says to take one capsule twice daily with plenty of water. They also recommend that you space out the doses evenly throughout the day.
We wouldn’t suggest taking this too close to bed time though.
There are quite a few reviews of Shredz Fat Burner online.
One user said that they noticed that they quickly lost weight around their midsection.
Another said that the product didn’t work for her and made her jittery.
One customer said that they had experienced better muscle pumps.
Someone else said it did curb her appetite but made her feel bloated and uncomfortable as well.
Not really. While Shredz Fat Burner does tick a lot of the boxes of the things to look for in a natural fat burner, there are also quite a lot of ingredients missing in our opinion.
We recently picked out our top five best fat burners on sale at the moment after comparing the ingredients and checking out the customer reviews. Click the link below to check it out.
As we always say with products of this type, they should not be seen as an excuse not to put in the hard work.
There are no shortcuts to success when it comes to your body goals, and you should 100 per cent make sure that your diet and exercise regime are in check first.
That being said, if you’re already training hard and eating well, a good fat burner can make all the difference.
So, is Shredz Fat Burner a good fat burner that you should consider taking? Here are our thoughts in a nutshell:
– Good basic ingredients
