We came across the Six Star supplement as one of the main products on sale in this category on Amazon.

If you’re looking to get the lowdown on this particular supplement, our Six Star review is going to give you everything you need to know about this product.

We’re going to focus on all of the important things that you need to know about this product as we look to determine where it stands in relation to the very best so-called ‘testosterone boosters’ on the market at the moment.

The supplement market has grown hugely in recent years, and that means that there is more choice than every if you’re looking to find a product in this category.

However, the extra choice can also make it tricky to pick out the very best supplements in this category.

There are literally thousands of products, and each one carries bold manufacturer claims about their effectiveness.

Luckily for you, we’re doing all of the hard work for you by taking a close look at the leading supplements in this category to help pick out the best ones from the not-so-good.

So, let’s now get cracking and start taking a look at the Six Star supplement in a bit more detail.

What does the Six Star supplement do?

In case you weren’t already aware, Six Star’s product fits into a broader range of supplements generally referred to as so-called ‘testosterone boosters’.

These are supplements which contain a range of natural ingredients which have been specifically designed to help support your goals.

It’s important to realise that most of the products in this category, including the one featured on this page, have not been proven to boost testosterone levels.

They are usually simply food supplements which contain a number of plant extracts and other ingredients such as vitamins and minerals.

According to the official listing on Amazon, Six Star is an “extreme strength” supplement that has been designed to help you maintain “peak” state.

Six Star supplement is made by the same company that produces the popular MuscleTech brands.

The marketing material claims that the supplement uses scientifically researched ingredients to help support you on your journey.

The official listing on Amazon also says that Six Star will help you to enhance other things as you look to hit your goals.

This all sounds pretty good to us. Six Star is certainly making all of the right noises when it comes to what we look for in a supplement like this.

However, we’ve learned to take manufacturer claims about their own products with a pinch of salt.

The real test as to whether a supplement is any good or not can be found in the ingredients formula, servings and customer reviews.

So, let’s now continue our Six Star supplement review by taking a close look at the ingredients formula in a bit more detail.

What you need to know about the ingredients

Let’s begin this important part by taking a close look at the actual ingredients formula as shown on the label of Six Star.

Six Star Testosterone Booster ingredients formula

Firstly, we should congratulate Six Star for not using a proprietary blend with this supplement.

This means that we’re clearly shown the exact doses of the ingredients used, which makes it much easier to judge the effectiveness of the product.

As a side note, we always recommend that you steer clear of any supplements that use proprietary blends. Let’s now focus on the ingredients used in the Six Star supplement.

• Calcium – The first ingredient in the Six Star formula is Calcium. It’s not the most common ingredient, but it certainly carries a number of health benefits. When most people hear about calcium, they automatically think about normal bones and teeth. What you may not know is that Calcium also contributes to a normal energy-yielding metabolism and normal muscle function. So, it’s not a bad inclusion in the Six Star formula.

• Rhodiola Extract – This is one of those ingredients that we’re more used to finding in the top pre workout supplements rather than anything else. Rhodiola is a herb that has been used in traditional Chinese medicine. Although it’s sometimes used in pre workout supplements, there is not a huge amount of research suggesting that it will be beneficial for much here.

• Ginkgo Extract – This is an extract from a plant called the Maidenhair tree. Again, this is another ingredient which is common in Chinese medicine. This is another ingredient which is claimed to help with certain things. However, the actual evidence behind the claims is not that convincing, so it’s a bit of a shame that Six Star have not used a more proven ingredient in its place.

• Boron – This is a solid inclusion and one of the ingredients we always like to see included in this kind of supplement. It’s a mineral which is commonly added to supplements in this category so it’s great to see that Six Star have included it in their formula.

What’s missing?

The Six Star supplement has one of the shortest ingredients lists we’ve come across.

Although this isn’t necessarily a bad thing, we must say that we were disappointed that a number of our favorite ingredients didn’t make it into the Six Star formula. The main omissions are:

• D-Aspartic Acid
• Magnesium
• Zinc
• Black Pepper Extract

It was really disappointing that Six Star did not use any D-Aspartic Acid in their formula.

D-Aspartic Acid is one of our favorite ingredients and you’ll usually find it in the top products in this category.

Meanwhile, Magnesium and Zinc are two important minerals. In case you didn’t know, Zinc contributes to normal fertility and reproduction, as well as the maintenance of normal serum testosterone concentrations.

And Black Pepper Extract is a good inclusion for any supplement, and it’s usually included in small doses in the top products on the market.

Are there any Six Star supplement side effects?

The Six Star formula is a relatively straightforward one, so you shouldn’t have to worry too much about suffering from any side-effects.

That being aid, we do always recommend that you take a close look at the ingredients formula yourself and do some of your own research before taking any new supplement for the first time.

We do also recommend that you speak to your doctor before thinking about taking any new supplement for the first time.

How to take Six Star supplement

Each bottle of Six Star contains 60 caplets. That means that if you stick to the recommended dose, one bottle will last you for just 15 days, which isn’t great. We feel that supplements should be sold as month-long supplies as standard.

The directions say that you should take two caplets, two times daily with a glass of water. There’s a warning saying not to exceed more than four capsules in a 24-hour period.

What are customers saying?

We did some digging online to uncover some Six Star supplement reviews.

At the time of writing, there were 878 reviews on Amazon, and this supplement had an average rating of 4.1 out of 5 stars.

One person said that taking Six Star regularly helped them to pack on more muscle, which they had been struggling with previously.

However, one negative review came from somebody who claimed that it gave them terrible migraines immediately after having started to take it.

Is this the best supplement?

Not in our opinion. The Six Star supplement does contain a handful of good ingredients such as Boron, but it falls short when it comes to competing with the leading products on the market.

The fact that it doesn’t use Magnesium, Zinc or D-Aspartic Acid means that we don’t consider it to be one of the best products in this category around right now.

Check out our guide to the best five supplements on the market right now by checking out the link shown below.

Anything else to consider?

Never expect a supplement to do all of the hard work for you. To see real results both inside and outside of the gym, you’ll need to make sure that you’re sticking to a solid training regime and eating properly.

That said, you can expect to see some good results if you are able to combine the right lifestyle choices with a quality supplement in this category.

Review conclusion – our final thoughts

So, that brings us to the end of our Six Star supplement review.

Overall, we were a little bit disappointed by this supplement, as it’s missing some of our favorite ingredients such as Zinc and D-Aspartic Acid.

However, it does seem to have some good review from customers.

That said, it doesn’t really come close to challenging the best products on the market in this category right now.
