We’re going to focus on all of the important things that you need to know about this product as we look to determine where it stands in relation to the very best testosterone boosters
on the market at the moment.
The testosterone booster market has grown hugely in recent years, and that means that there is more choice than every if you’re looking to find a supplement to help with lean muscle mass and overall male health.
However, the extra choice can also make it tricky to pick out the very best supplements in this category.
There are literally thousands of products, and each one carries bold manufacturer claims about their effectiveness.
Luckily for you, we’re doing all of the hard work for you by taking a close look at the leading testosterone booster supplements in this category to help pick out the best ones from the not-so-good.
So, let’s now get cracking and start taking a look at the Six Star Testosterone Booster in a bit more detail.
In case you weren’t already aware, Six Star’s product fits into a broader range of supplements generally referred to as testosterone boosters.
These are supplements which contain a range of natural ingredients which have been specifically designed to help give your body more of the fuel it needs to produce more of the male hormone.
Low testosterone levels in men has been an increasing problem in recent years, with more and more men suffering from the issue.
Whether you’ve actually been diagnosed as having low testosterone by a doctor, or you simply suspect that may be the case, using a quality, safe and natural testosterone booster could be a could idea.
According to the official listing on Amazon, Six Star is an “extreme strength” testosterone booster that has been designed to help you maintain “peak” testosterone levels.
Six Star Testosterone Booster is made by the same company that produces the popular MuscleTech brands.
The marketing material claims that the supplement uses scientifically researched ingredients to help get your body producing more testosterone naturally.
The official listing on Amazon also says that Six Star will help you to enhance your training performance and also maintain a peak cortisol to testosterone ratio.
This all sounds pretty good to us. Six Star is certainly making all of the right noises when it comes to what we look for in a testosterone booster.
However, we’ve learned to take manufacturer claims about their own products with a pinch of salt.
The real test as to whether a supplement is any good or not can be found in the ingredients formula, servings and customer reviews.
So, let’s now continue our Six Star Testosterone Booster review by taking a close look at the ingredients formula in a bit more detail.
Let’s begin this important part by taking a close look at the actual ingredients formula as shown on the label of Six Star.
Firstly, we should congratulate Six Star for not using a proprietary blend with this supplement.
This means that we’re clearly shown the exact doses of the ingredients used, which makes it much easier to judge the effectiveness of the product.
As a side note, we always recommend that you steer clear of any supplements that use proprietary blends. Let’s now focus on the ingredients used in the Six Star Testosterone Booster.
• Calcium – The first ingredient in the Six Star formula is Calcium. It’s not the most common testosterone booster ingredient, but it certainly carries a number of health benefits. When most people hear about calcium, they automatically think about healthy bones and teeth. However, there has been some research which suggests that it can play a role in testosterone production. So, it’s not a bad inclusion in the Six Star formula.
• Rhodiola Extract – This is one of those ingredients that we’re more used to finding in the top pre workout supplements rather than testosterone boosters. Rhodiola is a traditional Chinese medicine which has been shown to help fight depression and tiredness. It’s thought that it can also help to boost overall cognition and mood, which makes it a good inclusion in pre workout supplements. However, there is not a huge amount of research suggesting that it will actually raise testosterone levels.
• Ginkgo Extract – This is an extract from a plant called the Maidenhair tree. Again, this is another ingredient which is common in Chinese medicine. This is another ingredient which is known for being a good inclusion for brain health. It’s also believed to have potential in helping to reduce the symptoms of Anxiety. However, there is not a great deal of evidence suggesting that it will help with boosting testosterone levels, so it’s a bit of a shame that Six Star have not used a more proven ingredient in its place.
• Boron – This is a solid inclusion and one of the ingredients we always like to see included in testosterone boosters. It’s a mineral which has been shown in some cases to significantly boost testosterone levels in men, and sometimes in a matter of days. We rate it as one of the best testosterone boosting ingredients around, so it’s great to see that Six Star have included it in their formula.
The Six Star testosterone booster has one of the shortest ingredients lists we’ve come across.
Although this isn’t necessarily a bad thing, we must say that we were disappointed that a number of key testosterone boosting ingredients didn’t make it into the Six Star formula. The main omissions are:
• D-Aspartic Acid
• Black Pepper Extract
It was really disappointing that Six Star did not use any D-Aspartic Acid in their testosterone booster formula.
D-Aspartic Acid is one of the best natural testosterone boosting ingredients around, because it’s been shown in various studies to help increase testosterone levels in men – and sometimes within just a matter of days.
Meanwhile, Magnesium and Zinc are two of the very best testosterone boosting ingredients around, because they both play a role in healthy production of the male hormone.
And Black Pepper Extract is a good inclusion for any testosterone booster, because it can help to increase the absorption of the other ingredients, which means a more effective supplement.

The Six Star formula is a relatively straightforward and safe one, so you shouldn’t have to worry too much about suffering from any side-effects.
That being aid, we do always recommend that you take a close look at the ingredients formula yourself and do some of your own research before taking any new supplement for the first time.
Each bottle of Six Star contains 60 caplets. That means that if you stick to the recommended dose, one bottle will last you for just 15 days, which isn’t great. We feel that supplements should be sold as month-long supplies as standard.
The directions say that you should take two caplets, two times daily with a glass of water. There’s a warning saying not to exceed more than four capsules in a 24-hour period.
We did some digging online to uncover some Six Star Testosterone Booster reviews.
At the time of writing, there were 878 reviews on Amazon, and this supplement had an average rating of 4.1 out of 5 stars.
One person said that taking Six Star regularly helped them to pack on more muscle, which they had been struggling with previously.
However, one negative review came from somebody who claimed that it gave them terrible migraines immediately after having started to take it.
Not in our opinion. The Six Star Testosterone Booster does contain a handful of good ingredients such as Boron, but it falls short when it comes to competing with the leading products on the market.
The fact that it doesn’t use Magnesium, Zinc or D-Aspartic Acid means that we don’t consider it to be one of the best testosterone boosters around right now.

Never expect a supplement to do all of the hard work for you. To see real results both inside and outside of the gym, you’ll need to make sure that you’re sticking to a solid training regime and eating properly.
That said, you can expect to see some good results if you are able to combine the right lifestyle choices with a quality supplement in this category.
So, that brings us to the end of our Six Star Testosterone Booster review.
Overall, we were a little bit disappointed by this supplement, as it’s missing some key ingredients such as Zinc and D-Aspartic Acid.
However, it does seem to have some good review from customers.
That said, it doesn’t really come close to challenging the best products on the market in this category right now.
