Grenade Thermo Detonator Review

Grenade Thermo Detonator is a so-called ‘fat burner’ supplement sold both online and in a select number of shops.

Available to buy at: www.amazon.co.uk

It’s been around for quite a few years now and the Grenade brand of supplements is one of the most established ones on the market. It’s important for us to point out that this review is focused on the UK version of this product, although there are other versions of Thermo Detonator available on sale in other countries, such as the USA.

Supplements of this type often have a bad reputation. That’s mainly because lots of them are aggressively marketed as ‘magic pills’ that will work with no effort on your part. Of course, that’s simply not the case.

It’s widely accepted that the main proven way to lose fat is to stick to a (sensible and well-managed) diet and exercise regimen in which you’re burning slightly more calories than you’re consuming. In other words, it’s about keeping in a slight calorie deficit over time.

So-called ‘fat burner’ supplements are generally not proven to ‘burn’ fat on their own. Rather, they can provide a range of ingredients such as vitamins, minerals and plant extracts, each of which may (or may not) bring some benefits and support on your health and fitness journey.

It’s always best to speak with your doctor or a certified medical professional before making any changes to your lifestyle, diet or exercise routine, or trying a new supplement.

So, with all of that out of the way, it’s time to start taking a close and detailed look at the Grenade Thermo Detonator supplement to see where it stands.

Grenade Thermo Detonator – The Basics

Grenade are one of the biggest names in the supplements industry, and Thermo Detonator has been around for quite a few years now.

It certainly stands out from the crowd in terms of its branding and packaging. As you can see for yourself, the capsules are housed in an eye-catching grenade-shaped bottle, which comes in its own box.

There is certainly a ‘military’ feel when it comes to this supplement, and the first impressions in terms of the quality of the packaging are pretty good.

The bottle we tried contained a total of 44 capsules, although there are other options in terms of the size of container out there.

The side of the bottle proudly declares that Grenade Thermo Detonator is a “multi-award winning support system specifically designed by nutrition experts”.

The marketing material on the side of the box also says that this supplement is best used “synergistically with a sensible diet and exercise programme.

There are a few other points mentioned, including that this product is “ideal” for pre-cardio and endurance training.

In the UK, Grenade Thermo Detonator is available to buy in shops such as Holland and Barrett, and it is also available to buy from various online retailers.

It all sounds pretty good so far. However, we generally prefer not to pay too much attention to the marketing material of any given product.

We think that it’s usually best to focus on the facts about products – and in this case, the main ones are the ingredients formula, the doses and the directions.

So, with that in mind, let’s move onto the next important section in our Grenade Thermo Detonator review.

The Ingredients

Grenade Thermo Detonator contains six active ingredients. They are:

• Green Tea
• Bitter Orange Powder
• Caffeine
• Cayenne
• Phenylalanine
• Green Coffee

As you can see for yourself, these are some of the common ingredients found in supplements in this category.

The likes of Green Tea and Cayenne are touted as having some potent benefits, although in the EU, no health claims can be made about these ingredients by food and food supplement manufacturers.

Caffeine is one of the main ingredients in Thermo Detonator. The product we tested contained 112.5mg of Caffeine per capsule, and 225mg of Caffeine per two-capsule serving.

It’s important to note the relatively high caffeine content in this product. 112.5mg is about the same amount of Caffeine you’d expect to find in a strong cup of coffee. For this reason, this product is probably best not consumed near to bedtime, and it’s important to monitor and keep your Caffeine intake from other sources in check.

The other ingredients in the formula include Green Coffee Extract, which is rich in a potentially-beneficial substance called Chlorogenic Acid, along with Bitter Orange Powder and Phenylalanine.

One thing that struck us about this supplement was the absence of any vitamins or minerals. For example, it’s not uncommon to find supplements in this category containing vitamins such as B6 and B12, and minerals such as Zinc, to support a range of bodily functions.

As we mentioned above, this is the UK-targeted version of this product. The Grenade Thermo Detonator supplement available in other countries may have different formulas.

Price and Where To Buy

At the time of writing, one bottle of Grenade Thermo Detonator containing 44 capsules currently costs around £30. There is also a 100-capsule version which costs around £45.

In the USA, one bottle containing 100 capsules costs around $40.

You can buy it from the official Grenade website, or from other online retailers such as Amazon.

Side Effects

As we mentioned at the start of this article, it’s always best to speak to your doctor or a certified medical professional before taking any new supplement, or making any major changes to your diet and/or exercise regimen.

In terms of Grenade Thermo Detonator side effects, there are a few things to bear in mind. Firstly, this product is high in caffeine – 225mg per serving. There is a warning on the box saying that this supplement should not be taken children, or pregnant or breastfeeding women.

Because Thermo Detonator does contain a significant amount of Caffeine, you may have to watch your intake from other sources, and the label also says that you should not take it less than six hours before sleeping.

There is also a warning on the label saying not to take Thermo Detonator if you suffer from high blood pressure or are using any prescribed medication.

How To Take It

The directions for Grenade Thermo Detonator say that you should take two capsules on an empty stomach with water upon waking. It then also says you should take two capsules 30 minutes before lunch with water.

The directions say to assess tolerance, you should first start by consuming one capsule, twice per day for the first seven days.

There are various warnings along with the directions, including one saying that you should not take more than four capsules per day, and that you should not consume more than two capsules at a time.

Anything Else To Consider?

As we have already mentioned at multiple times in this article, food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied diet and healthy lifestyle.

It is always best to make sure that your nutrition plan and exercise regimen are both on point first before thinking about taking a supplement.

It’s also important to remember that an exercise and nutrition plan in which you’re burning more calories than you’re consuming over a sustained period of time is the main method for achieving fat loss.

Because of the range of warnings on the box of this supplement, we think that it’s best to speak to your doctor or a certified medical professional before taking it.
