In this review article, we’re going to take a thorough look at Thermocuts and break down all of the ingredients. We’re also going examine the dosage and check out some customer reviews.
There are a number of fat burning products on sale these days, and lots of them use completely natural ingredients to speed up your body’s ability to burn fat.
Thermocuts in particular are capsules containing some specially selected ingredients to help boost your body’s natural ability to burn fat.
You’re supposed to take the capsules a number of times a day to help support your mission to shed the pounds and get lean.
The official website says that the capsules are designed to help support fat metabolism, when used in combined with a healthy diet and a solid training regime.
Let’s take a closer look at all of the ingredients included in Thermocuts.
There are some good ingredients in this product, many of which you’ll find in the best fat burning supplements on sale these days.
That being said, there are also some key omissions – Thermocuts could benefit from the inclusion of a number of other ingredients shown to help support fat loss.
Let’s take an in-depth look at the core ingredients of Thermocuts.
Green Tea extract – This is one of the most popular natural supplements on sale these days and it’s not hard to see why.
We found that the best fat burning supplements all contained Green Tea in some form, meaning that it’s now regarded as a key ingredient to support fat loss.
Extracted from tea leaves, this ingredient has thermogenic properties, which can raise your body’s core temperature and cause it to burn more calories as it tries to cool down.
Green Tea also contains a small amount of caffeine, which can help to support your energy levels. That’s great for anyone who often struggled to find the energy to keep active and do regular exercise.
Green Tea has also been linked with boosting the key fat burning hormone in your body by some studies.
L-Carnitine – This is something of an unusual inclusion, as we haven’t seen it in many other products for fat loss. That being said, it does have a number uses with regards to potentially speeding up fat loss.
L-Carnitine is a non-essential amino acid that is thought to play a role in the transfer of fatty acids to the mitochondria. It’s natural sources include meat, fish and milk.
Studies have shown that supplementing with L-Carnitine can enhance fat metabolisation (using fat as a source of energy), which points to why Optimum Nutrition have included it in Thermocuts.
Caffeine – One regular theme we noticed when sampling the main fat loss supplements is that many of them also contain natural stimulants to help keep you energised.
Although there are no direct links to fat loss, having increased energy is definitely a positive for anyone looking to lose weight by getting more active.
Caffeine is one of the world’s most popular natural stimulants and is readily available in things such as coffee and tea.
Indeed, it’s already included in Thermocuts thanks to the Green Tea ingredient. Each two-capsule serving of Thermocuts contains 400mg of caffeine, which is quite a lot.
Guarana – This is another ingredient which you’ll often find in fat burning products.
From the research we’ve done, Guarana is again seen as more of an energy booster rather than an ingredient to increase fat loss.
Guarana is another natural source of caffeine in Thermocuts.
That means that there are three sources of caffeine in this product. You’re definitely not likely to feel tired when taking it.
That said, there is not much evidence to suggest that Guarana actually helps directly with fat loss.
Cayenne Pepper – This is a key ingredient and is one of the first things you should look for when picking a good fat burner.
Cayenne Pepper is a natural thermogenic, which can boost your metabolism and speed up the fat burning process.
Because it’s spicy, it raises your body’s core temperature, which means that you have to burn more calories to cool down again.
It’s also known to be an appetite suppressant, which is great for helping to make sure that you stick to your diet.
Cayenne Pepper is definitely one of our top fat burning ingredients and it’s great to see it included in Thermocuts – although the dosage of 40mg per serving is a bit too low for our liking.
Zinc – This is a really important mineral which is often overlooked.
In men, Zinc is one of the main minerals needed to help maintain healthy testosterone levels. It also helps your body to turn food into energy.
There are some vague suggestions online that Zinc could help boost you’re ability to burn fat, but we’re not going to read too much into those.
Although there’s little evidence linking Zinc to fat loss directly, it’s a good ingredient because of its other clear health benefits.
Vitamin B6 – This is a crucial vitamin which is thought to boost your metabolism.
Vitamin B6 is thought to support your body’s natural ability to convert food into energy while also burning off any excess fat.
B6 also helps your body to make glucose from stored carbohydrate, to help keep your blood sugar levels up even if you’re consuming fewer calories.
We’d say this is a very good addition to a fat burner tablet.
Black Pepper Extract – Quite simply, you shouldn’t consider buying any health supplement which doesn’t include Black Pepper Extract.
Although it doesn’t directly help with the intended use of the product, many studies have shown that the inclusion of Black Pepper Extract helps to increase your body’s absorption of the other ingredients.
In short, it helps your body to make use of all of the other ingredients.
While the ingredients above make for pretty good reading, there are some key ingredients that we feel Thermocuts should include.
Vitamin B12 should really be included for its ability to help your body turn carbs into glucose as a source of energy.
Other ingredients which we consider crucial for a fat burning supplement include Green Coffee Bean extract and Chromium.
It’s disappointing that neither of these three ingredients are included.
Taking a look at the ingredients, the one thing that stands out is the caffeine content. There is 200mg of caffeine per two capsules, which is quite a lot in our opinion.
Having too much caffeine in your diet can cause side effects such as jitteriness, restlessness and insomnia.
Each bottle contains 100 capsules, meaning that if you stick to the recommended daily dose, it should last you 25 days.
We’d honestly prefer each bottle to last one month, which is the standard for most products of this type.
The official website says that you should always take Thermocuts with a meal. The site doesn’t give two much detail about dosage but it does suggest that you should take two capsules, twice a day (so four in total).
Given the high caffeine content in this product, we’d recommend taking Thermocuts earlier in the day if possible, to prevent it from affecting your sleep.
There are some good reviews of Thermocuts online.
We found one customer who claimed the product works well, and that it took 30 minutes to an hour for the effects to kick in.
Another purchaser said he enjoyed the benefits of Thermocuts but claimed that there are other better fat burning supplements on sale.
One user said they were disappointed with the quality of the product, given Optimum Nutrition’s reputation, while another person complained that they seemed to suffer headaches when taking the product.
Probably not. Thermocuts is a decent product but there are definitely better options out there featuring more key ingredients in the best doses.

Always remember that supplements such as Thermocuts are designed to be an addition to your regime, not an excuse to slack off at the gym and not eat healthily.
These supplements are designed specifically for people who are exercising regularly and eating well, so make sure you have these two things on point before considering a fat burner.
There it is, our review of Thermocuts by Optimum Nutrition.
So, is this an effective quality fat burner?
– Decent ingredients
– Made by a reputable company
– Missing thinks like Green Coffee Bean and Chromium
– Caffeine content may be too much for some
– Mixed customer reviews

In summary, this is a pretty good product to support fat loss, but we feel there are better options out there. Optimum Nutrition have certainly tried to create a quality product, but we feel it falls just short of where it should be.
