Thermopure is a supplement made by UK-based sports nutrition company Myprotein. They are known for their quality products and clean branding.

In this review article, we’re going to take a look at exactly how Thermopure works by taking a close look at all of the ingredients, while also checking out what the customers are saying about this particular product.

What does Thermopure by Myprotein do?

By taking a look at the official Myprotein website, there is not much indication about what this product is actually supposed to do.

Presumably that’s because of the regulations about health claims in the industry. Myprotein are certainly erring on the side of caution in that regard.

Taking a closer look at the ingredients (and the name of the product), it’s fairly clear that this product is designed to help boost your body’s natural ability to burn fat, although it’s not specifically mentioned anywhere.

The website says that Thermopure is aimed at both men and women who are looking for a blend of “key nutrients and minerals” in one capsule.

That’s pretty much as vague as it gets, so let’s take a closer look at exactly what’s in Thermopure.

What you need to know about the ingredients

There are some good ingredients in Thermopure which should help you on your fat-loss journey.

That being said, there are certainly some key omissions and some ingredients we’d like to see included.

Let’s take a look at the core ingredients in a bit more detail.

Green Tea Extract – This is one of the most common ingredients in supplements like this and it’s no surprise to see it included.

Green Tea is a natural stimulant (it contains small amounts of caffeine) and can also help to boost your metabolism.

It also works as a thermogenic, which can increase your body’s core temperature, meaning that it needs to burn more calories to cool itself down.

It’s great to see it included and we really wouldn’t consider any products in this category that didn’t include Green Tea in some form.

Cayenne Pepper – This is another ‘must have’ ingredient in any product designed to promote fat loss.

Cayenne Pepper is a powerful thermogenic which like Green Tea, can increase your body temperature to force it to burn calories to cool down again.

Cayenne is also believed to work as an appetite suppressant, meaning that it may be easier to stick to your diet when taking it.

Just like Green Tea, we wouldn’t consider taking a product that doesn’t contain Cayenne, so it’s great to see it included in Thermopure.

L-Theanine – This in an amino acid primarily found in plants and it’s interesting to see it included in Thermopure.

While we can’t find much evidence linking L-Theanine with fat loss directly, it does have a number of health benefits.

It’s primarily found in tea leaves and is thought to have a calming effect.

It also combines with caffeine (another Thremopure ingredient) to create something known as ‘smart’ caffeine. In short, you’ll feel all of the effects of caffeine without the energy crashes.

Caffeine – As mentioned above, Caffeine can work well with L-Theanine to help provide a natural stimulant effect.

Coffee drinks will need no introduction to Caffeine – it’s one of the most popular natural stimulants on sale these days and is consumed on a daily basis by millions.

While there are definitely benefits to feeling energised as you look to achieve your body goals, there’s not much evidence to suggest that Caffeine can actually help with fat loss.

It’s also important to bear in mind that the caffeine content in this product is notable, meaning that it could affect your sleep if you take it too late in the day.

Chromium – This is a great inclusion in Thermopure and is something we’d like to see more regularly in these kinds of supplements.

Chromium is a trace element which is thought to improve the action of insulin to regulate blood sugar levels. It’s also believed that it can help to promote thermogenesis.

Apparently, it can also help to reduce the levels of fat in the body, although we couldn’t find any scientific research to back up this suggestion.

Black Pepper Extract – Here’s one to remember: don’t consider taking any supplements which don’t include Black Pepper Extract in some form.

Why? Because it’s believed to increase the absorption and thus bioavailability of all of the other ingredients.

Put simply, it is key to making sure you’re getting the absolute maximum out of the rest of the ingredients.

It’s good to see it included in Thermopure, even if we consider it to be a necessity for any supplements these days.

Vitamins B6 and B12 – These are other good ingredients to support your overall health.

The wide-ranging group of B vitamins help your body to turn carbohydrate into glucose, which your body can then use as a source of energy.

B6 is thought to have metabolism-boosting properties, while B12 is believed to support your body’s natural ability to turn food into energy.

thermopure ingredients

What’s missing?

Thermopure includes some pretty good ingredients when it comes to helping with fat loss. That being said, there are some things we were disappointed to see were not included.

Zinc is one mineral we wanted to see in this product because of its ability to maintain healthy testosterone levels in men. Some research also suggests that Zinc could help you burn fat.

Another key ingredient missing in Thermopure is Glucomannan in our opinion. Glucomannan is thought to be a good natural appetite suppressant, which makes it easier for you to stick to your diet.

Green Coffee Bean is another ingredient missing from this product. The best fat burners tend to contain all of the three ingredients above.

Are there any side effects?

You should always carefully check the ingredient list to make sure that you’re not allergic to any of the ingredients.

One thing we noticed about Thermopure is that the dosage of the various ingredients is quite low per three-capsule serving.

Every three pills contains 150mg of caffeine – although that doesn’t include the content from the Green Tea Extact. 150mg is not very much, but caffeine is known to cause some side effects in some people, so it’s worth looking into this before buying the product.

How to take Thermopure

Thermopure is available in two bottle sizes right now – 90 capsules and 180 capsules.

The 90-capsule bottle should last you 30 days, while the 180-capsule bottle should last around 60 days.

The official website says to take three capsules daily, and that it’s best to take it before exercise on an empty stomach. They don’t recommend what time of day you should take them or whether you should take them all in one go.

On rest days (with no exercise), they recommend taking one capsule in the morning, afternoon and evening.

Because of the caffeine content, we’d suggest not taking this product too late in the evening as it could affect your sleep.

What are customers saying?

Thermopure seems to have pretty good reviews from what we can tell.

One user said that it worked well in giving them a boost before hitting the gym but also said they seemed sweat more when training.

Another purchaser recommended that you take it around 45 minutes before a workout to make sure it kicks in at the right time.

Someone else described taking Thermopure as like having eight cups of coffee and that the effects lasted for hours.

Some users complained about headaches and most people said that they took this product with water in the morning.

Is this the best fat burner?

It’s a good option but isn’t our favourite product. Thermopure does tick off a good number of the ingredients we want to see in a fat burner but there are still some things missing.

Instant Knockout is our top pick for a fat burner on sale right now. Find out more about it in our dedicated far burner guide.

Anything else to consider?

If you’ve read any of our reviews of these kinds of products before, you’ll know that we firmly believe you should focus on your diet and exercise before taking one.

That being said, they can definitely help with your fat-loss journey when combined with a healthy lifestyle and when taken correctly.

Review conclusion – our final thoughts

There we have it, our full review of Thermopure by Myprotein.
