If you’re a regular visitor to our website, you’ll know that we are always looking to find out about the leading fat burner supplements on the market right now – and that’s why our Xenadrine NextGen MuscleTech review has come about.

MuscleTech are one of the industry leaders when it comes to health and fitness supplements, so we were keen to learn more about their Xenadrine NextGen product.

Although there is no mention of it in the marketing material, this product seems to have been designed for women in mind.

The promotional material on the Amazon product page, for examples, features the success stories of a number of women.

This particular fat burner is claimed to deliver “scientifically dosed weight loss” to help you to achieve your body goals.

It also claims that its “intelligent nano beads” mean that this product is more effective than the competition when it comes to the delivery.

But is Xenadrine NextGen by MuscleTech really all it is cracked up to be?

Our review of this fat burner is going to focus on all of the important information you need to know about this supplement, so you can decide if it’s the best option for you, or if your money would be better spent elsewhere.

What does Xenadrine NextGen do?

Xenadrine NextGen is marketed as a fat burner supplement designed to help you finally shift those stubborn areas of fat.

It contains a number of key ingredients to help boost thermogenic fat burning and increase energy levels.

The box of Xenadrine NextGen says that it provides the following:

• Powerful Weight Loss
• Enhanced Focus
• Energy and Sensory Boost
• Supports Macronutrient Metabolism

As you can see for yourself, Xenadrine Next Gen has been formulated to work in a number of ways to help you to achieve your weight loss goals.

The one thing that has not been mentioned in the marketing material is that it works to suppress appetite, which can make sticking to your diet much easier.

However, that being said, this supplement does work to suppress appetite a bit, if the reviews on Amazon are anything to go by.

When selecting a fat burner, you’ll definitely want to choose a product which works in multiple ways to help you burn more fat.

That’s because a supplement which works in multiple ways is greatly going to increase your chances of success.

Let’s now see if Xenadrine NextGen lives up the marketing hype or not.

What you need to know about the ingredients

Let’s begin this important part by taking a close look at the ingredients used in this supplement.

Xenadrine Next Gen

The first good thing we saw when checking the label is that MuscleTech have decided not to use a proprietary blend for this product, meaning that we know the individual doses of the separate ingredients, which is great news.

Let’s now take a close look at the ingredients used in Xenadrine NextGen by MuscleTech.

• MCT Oil – Medium Chain Triglycerides are partially man made fats. They are generally produced by processing coconut and palm kernel oils in a laboratory. There is some research which suggests that MCTs may help with weight management.

• C Canephora Robusta Bean Extract – This is the “scientifically researched” ingredient that MuscleTech have mentioned in their marketing material for Xenadrine NextGen. It’s essentially Green Coffee Bean Extract. This is a good fat burning ingredient because unroasted coffee beans are rich in a substance called Chlorogenic Acid, which has been shown to help with weight loss.

• Caffeine Anhydrous – A great ingredient for any fat burner supplement. Caffeine is one of the most potent and popular stimulants around. It will help to both boost energy levels and stimulate metabolism. Anhydrous is also one of the purest forms of Caffeine around.

• Yohimbe Extract – This is one of those ingredients that has made its way into a lot of fat burners that we’ve reviewed recently. It’s been linked to weight loss, but we don’t rate it as one of the very best fat burning ingredients around.

• Black Pepper Extract – A good ingredient for any fat burner. Black Pepper Extract will help to boost the absorption of the other ingredients in the supplement, meaning that it’s likely to be more effective as a result.

• Satsuma Mandarin – This is an interesting inclusion which we haven’t seen used in many fat burner supplements before. Satsuma Mandarin is high in Vitamin C and is also full of antioxidants. There doesn’t seem to be much evidence linking it to fat burning, however.

• Huperzine-A – This is a substance purified from a plant called Chinese club moss. It’s been linked with helping to improve cognitive performance (boost brain power), but we’re not too convinced about it as a fat burner ingredient.

• Vitamins B6 and B12 – B Vitamins are always a good ingredient for a fat burner supplement. They help to support normal and healthy energy levels.

What’s missing?

Xenadrine NextGen does tick a few of the boxes when it comes to good fat burning ingredients, but there are also some things missing from this supplement in our opinion.

Here are some of our top rated fat burner ingredients that haven’t made it into this supplement:

• Cayenne Pepper
• Green Tea Extract
• Glucomannan

It’s a shame that these three ingredients have not made it into this supplement.

Cayenne Pepper is one of the best natural thermogenic ingredients around and it also doubles up as a potent appetite suppressant.

Green Tea Extract is also a great inclusion for any fat burner because of its brilliant thermogenic properties. It’s also packed full of antioxidants.

And Glucomannan is the best natural appetite suppressant around. It’s a natural dietary fiber which swells in your stomach to help keep you feeling fuller for longer and make sticking to your diet easier.

It’s a shame that these three heavyweight fat burning ingredients were omitted from Xenadrine NextGen.

Are there any side effects?

The main thing to be wary of when it comes to fat burner side effects is the overuse of stimulants.

We know that each three capsule serving of Xenadrine NextGen contains 200mg of Caffeine, which shouldn’t be enough to cause any problems. We know that the overuse of stimulants can cause side effects such as the jitters or energy crashes later in the day.

However, that shouldn’t be a problem with this product.

That being said, we do always recommend that you take a close look through the ingredients label for yourself and do some of your own research before using a fat burner for the first time.

How to take Xenadrine NextGen

Each bottle of Xenadrine NextGen contains 60 capsules.

The servings are quite complicated.

For the first three days, you’re supposed to take one capsule, twice daily.

From day four to day seven, you’re supposed to take two capsules, twice daily.

And from day eight onwards, you’re mean to take three capsules, twice daily.

What’s disappointing here is that if you stick to the maximum dose of six capsules per day, then one bottle is only going to last you for 10 days, which is nowhere near long enough in our opinion.

What are customers saying?

There were 345 Xenadrine NextGen reviews on Amazon at the time of writing. It seems to be a well received product, with an average rating of 4.0 out of 5 stars.

Some of the best rated reviews said that the Xenadrine NextGen pills helped them to lose weight when combined with regular exercise and a healthy diet.

However, there were also some complaints in the lower-rated reviews, with one person in particular saying that Xenadrine NextGen made them feel dizzy.

Is this the best fat burner?

Not in our humble opinion. Xenadrine NextGen has a few good ingredients and the fact that it doesn’t use a proprietary blend is good news.

However, there were too many of our top rated fat burner ingredients missing from this product for us to consider it as one of the very best supplements in this category.

Be sure to check out our updated guide to the 5 best fat burner supplements on the market right now via the link below.

Anything else to consider?

As we always like to remind our readers, there is no such thing as a magic pill to help you burn fat.

You should always first make sure that your training hard and eating right before trying any fat burner supplement for the first time.

That being said, if you’re already exercising regularly and stick to a healthy diet, then the right fat burner supplement can make a big difference to your results.

Review conclusion – our final thoughts

So that wraps up our Xenadrine NextGen MuscleTech review. Overall, this is a decent supplement but it’s missing some of the key ingredients which means that we don’t classify it as one of the very best fat burners around right now.
