The UFC returns to Newark, New Jersey on June 7 for a big PPV card that is topped by two title fights.
In the main event, Merab Dvalishvili will look to defeat Sean O’Malley for a second time in their bantamweight title rematch.
Despite UFC 316 being just hours away, a lot of the talk that has dominated fight week is in regards to the current debate surrounding the heavyweight division.
Tom Aspinall appears to be moving on from a fight with Jon Jones after the current champion seemingly clarified that he won’t be returning to the Octagon anytime soon.
Through all of this, UFC president Dana White hasn’t been in the spotlight and the fans have let their frustrations be heard.
Fans swarm Dana White’s social media posts and call for the UFC president to take action in stripping Jon Jones
Dana White’s latest social media post on Instagram was a collaboration with American firearms company, Staccato, but the video was quickly overrun by fight fans.
The UFC president didn’t speak after UFC 315 last month and he hasn’t yet been seen in Newark ahead of UFC 316.
While there are fans that will want to hear White give his thoughts on the matchups that take place on June 7, the biggest thing that people want is for him to provide an update on Jon Jones.

Many believe that the heavyweight champion should be stripped of the title with ‘Bones’ recently giving the impression that the ball is in the UFC’s court, as he’s already informed them of his plans.
Stacatto’s Instagram video, which White shared to his own Instagram page, was flooded by fans voicing their complaints, with the majority of the replies simply stating, ‘Strip Jon Jones.’
‘Dana doing everything but give af about the UFC’
‘Do your f—— job and strip Jon Jones’
‘Strip Jon jones or step down of you’re duties. Crushing this sport into pieces as the days go by.’
‘Show up to work already’
‘Cool, now strip Jon Jones’
‘We don’t care, Strip Jon Jones!’

Dana White previously provided positive updates about Jon Jones vs Tom Aspinall
When Dana White has spoken about the potential of Jon Jones fighting Tom Aspinall in a heavyweight title unification bout, the UFC president has been very positive about the matchup in the past.
He has told fans to be patient and clearly stated that ‘Bones’ will fight again this year, which appears to contradict the current champion’s own comments.
White previously stated back in March that the fight was done but a date hadn’t been confirmed or signed at that point in time.
“Well, I’ll tell you what I’ve been telling you since day one,” White replied when asked for an update on Jones vs Aspinall. “The fight’s going to happen. It’s just a matter of when now, and getting it signed and done.
“The fight will happen. It’s gonna happen. It’s done, but it’s not done enough to sit right here now and announce it and give you a date – but the fight is going to happen.”
“There’s no logistics. It’s just a matter of getting it signed.”
