Liverpool at the start of this season were beginning to show green shoots of growth as they kept pace with the top of the Premier League, but a winless run at the beginning of the year running into March has left question marks surrounding the German’s plans.
Anfield has seen plenty of goals so far, but it is a porous defence that has hamstrung any attempts by Klopp to solidify a clearly weak underbelly. The Reds have shipped goals at an alarming rate, and their backline and goalkeeper have looked anything but top-four quality.

Klopp will have identified his targets but here are 20 players that could really help the Reds next season.
