Liverpool Football Club have a history littered with success.

From their incredible teams of the ‘70’s and ‘80’s through to the Premier League era which has continued their vibrant style of football – Liverpool are a huge club which is an honour for players to play for.

The Reds have never lifted the Premier League trophy, but every season holds a genuine sense of hope that they are getting closer.

A huge number of players have pulled on the world-famous Liverpool jersey and Anfield have enjoyed many different heroes in the 24 years since the English top flight became the Premier League.

Football is truly a global sport, and every respective nation and its players will have genuine aspirations to play in the Premier League – and one of the biggest teams in the world. From China to the Americas, to play for the club in front of the Anfield fans is something to aim for.

Africa has provided these shores with some truly excellent players, and Liverpool has been just one club that has benefitted. From current day heroes such as Sadio Mane, through to the recent past, the Reds have employed some of the finest the continent has had to offer – and some that the fans have wished to forget.
