Alexander Zverev’s post-match interview has shocked fans after he swore at Taylor Fritz after his Stuttgart Open final loss.
Fritz defeated Zverev in straight sets in Germany, notching up his fifth win in a row against the World No. 3.
After the match, Zverev jokingly took to the microphone to complain about the American defeating him once again.
“Taylor, I’m f—— tired of you,” said Zverev. “I don’t wanna see you again over the next 2 to 3 years. Please stay away from me. Don’t come to Germany.”

Fans were shocked and entertained in equal measure at Zverev’s outburst at the player who certainly has his number.
Some fans took the post-match interview in jest, while others thought Zverev meant the insult directed at Fritz.
“Nah this is the most classless thing I’ve ever seen,” said one fan on X, while another wrote: “He really means it.”
Others saw it for the joke it was, hilariously sharing their views on the matter. “That’s how you handle a lost,” said one fan. “This dude is hilarious,” said another.
Zverev made it to the quarterfinals of Roland Garros, crashing out in the quarterfinals to Novak Djokovic in four sets.
Alexander Zverev heads to Halle
After his final defeat in Stuttgart, Zverev will be staying in Germany to compete at ATP 500 tournament Halle.
Zverev is the second seed at the tournament behind Jannik Sinner and gets his campaign underway against American Marcos Giron.
Should the German win his opening round match he’ll play either Jan-Lennard Struff or Lorenzo Sonego in the next round.
Zverev is expected to play Wimbledon at the end of the month, where he’ll be looking to make it past the fourth round for the first time.
