Emma Raducanu returned to winning ways alongside Elena Rybakina at the Washington Open.
Raducanu confirmed her Rybakina partnership in Washington ahead of teaming with Carlos Alcaraz at the US Open.
The all-star pair squeezed through their first round match against Tereza Mihalíková and Olivia Nicholls in three sets.
Ahead of her return to singles action, Raducanu sent a two-word message that truly shows her new team should be feared in the competition.

Emma Raducanu celebrates Washington win with Elena Rybakina
Raducanu and Rybakina have been dubbed E² due to having the same initials and the high-profile team impressed as they grew into their first round clash.
The Washington Open’s Instagram account shared coverage of Rybakina and Raducanu’s debut win on social media, which the British star replied to.
Raducanu was clearly happy to pick up the win in her first match in Washington, and replied to the post: “Let’s go!!”.
The British star is back in action on her own in Washington on July 22 with a match against World No. 26 Marta Kostyuk.
Why Emma Raducanu could miss out on the Billie Jean King Cup
Raducanu’s WTA ranking has been inconsistent over the summer, due to her form and the form of Katie Boulter and Sonay Kartal.
Raducanu returned to British No. 1 after Queen’s, but her third round exit at Wimbledon saw her drop to British No. 3.
Should she not be able to reclaim a place in the top two, she could miss the Billie Jean King Cup in September.
Boulter and Kartal look set to play that tournament due to current rankings, but plenty can change heading into the US Open.
