Jannik Sinner breezed through to the quarter-finals of US Open against Alexander Bublik, but there was some unexpected drama after the match.
Sinner was out for ‘revenge’ against Bublik and the World No. 1 dropped just three games as he set up a quarter-final meeting with compatriot Lorenzo Musetti.
The Italian has been in supreme form at the US Open this year, dropping just 31 games and one set in his first four games.
The star was subjected to some bizarre actions from a spectator as he was leaving Arthur Ashe Stadium after his latest win.

US Open fan apologises after stealing from tennis star
Sinner’s moment with the US Open fan comes after a Polish chief executive of a paving firm went viral for nabbing Kamil Majchrzak’s hat from the clutches of a child.
The video showed the player handing his hat to the child, before the gentleman nabbed it right from under him.
The man in question, Piotr Szczerek, has come out on social media and apologised for the controversial moment.
“I would like to unequivocally apologise to the injured boy, his family, as well as all the fans and the player himself,” he wrote.
