Jack Draper is confident of a good run at Queen’s 2025, and he believes there could be a surprising advantage from last year’s tournament.

Draper has been in superb form in 2025 so far and is currently at a career-high ranking of World No. 6 before the start of play at Queen’s.

The star is set to be the highest-ranked Brit at Wimbledon since the glory days of Andy Murray, and anticipation is high for the star to succeed.

Ahead of Queen’s 2025, Draper has revealed a potential advantage he could have over last year’s performance at the tournament.

Jack Draper thinks women’s Queen’s could help the courts

For the first time in over half a decade, there was a women’s draw at Queen’s, with the likes of Madison Keys, Elena Rybakina, and eventual winner Tatjana Maria.

Draper believes the courts being played on ahead of the men’s tournament could mean they’re easier in the early stages of the tournament.

“I think in terms of the courts, I mean, when the men play on it that first week, it gets very slippery as well, so I’m sure the courts are going to be fine,” said Draper at the Queen’s press conference.

“It might be even nicer for us, actually, having the court a bit played in,” said the World No. 6. But no, I’ve been watching the women’s all week.

The 2025 Indian Wells Masters winner continued: “It’s been great to see the level of play. I hope they keep it going here in London for sure.”

Draper defeated Carlos Alcaraz on his way to the Queen’s quarterfinal in 2024, before losing to overall winner Tommy Paul.

What other Brits are playing at Queen’s 2025?

As usual, there’s a whole host of British stars lining up to cause a shock at the biggest UK tournament before Wimbledon.

Draper leads the pack, but World No. 60 Cameron Norrie will also be in action as a Wild Card after an impressive Roland Garros that saw him reach the fourth round.

30-year-old World No. 102 Billy Harris, who picked up his first ATP Tour win at the age of 28, has also been given a Wild Card by the tournament.

Jacob Fearnley, who reached the third round of this year’s Roland Garros, has entered the event thanks to his impressive World No. 49 ranking.

Dan Evans will also be in action as a Wild Card, as the veteran British star looks to cause an upset against Frances Tiafoe.

The British players will be in action at Queen’s on June 16 and 17.
