Carlos Alcaraz continued to impress the London faithful at Queen’s Club, and fans were stunned by the Spaniard’s shot selection.
Alcaraz brought out his usual variety of incredible winners during his match with Jaume Munar at Queen’s Club.
The star was arguably the player fans flocked to see on day four of the men’s competition, and they weren’t disappointed.
One shot in particular completely stunned fans, who couldn’t believe what they were seeing from the Roland Garros winner.

Fans stunned by Carlos Alcaraz’s sliding volley at Queen’s
The 22-year-old was impressive against Munar and spent the match wowing the London crowd with his superb shot selection.
One shot, in particular, lived long in the memory for tennis fans. Alcaraz hit a spinning volley which bounced on the line and span away from his opponent.
It almost defied the laws of physics and fans were as impressed as they were baffled. “His movement on grass is outrageous,” said one impressed fan.
“His skills at the net are just insane,” said another fan on social media. “He can do just about anything he wants.”
Alcaraz will play either Reilly Opelka or Arthur Rinderknech in the quarterfinals of Queen’s Club should he get past Munar.
Can Carlos Alcaraz match Rafael Nadal’s record at Queen’s?
After winning Roland Garros in sensational fashion against Jannik Sinner, Alcaraz could match another Nadal record in London.
Nadal is the only star to win Roland Garros and Queen’s back to back, after achieving the feat with both tournaments in 2008.
Alcaraz could do the same should he navigate past Munar at Queen’s in 2025, but he’ll have his work cut out for him.
The likes of Jack Draper, Holger Rune, and Jiří Lehečka all look in good form and will be confident they can stop Alcaraz.
