Karrion Kross confirmed his WWE exit in a YouTube video, but fans think it’s an elaborate ruse by the star and the company.
Kross and Scarlett have reportedly left WWE after their contracts expired with the company, but they did so while still active with the company, which is rare for WWE.
Kross returned to WWE in 2022 after Triple H took the helm of the company, but he failed to assert himself in the main event scene.
Kross faced Sami Zayn at SummerSlam just over a week ago, but that’s not the only clue fans have spotted that might mean his exit is a storyline.

Fans think Karrion Kross’ new book means he’s staying with WWE
Just days before his WWE exit, Kross released his autobiography, ‘Life is Fighting’, and fans think that detail could mean he’s re-signed with the company.
On X, one fan wrote: “On his new book, the cover says ‘WWE superstar Karrion Kross’. I don’t know if WWE would have let him use that name if he didn’t re-sign.”
“It’s a work,” said another fan on social media. “His book just came out a few days ago with WWE and the Karrion Kross name all over it.”
Another said: “It smells like an angle. They plugged his book, and Paul Heyman talked about him being like this new Steve Austin, so he’s not going anywhere.”
Kross has feuded with the likes of AJ Styles, Drew McIntyre, and Rey Mysterio since returning to the company in 2022.
Karrion Kross is ‘accepting bookings’ after WWE exit
If Kross’ exit really is a ruse, the former WWE star is doing a fantastic job of ‘working’ fans into thinking just that.
After releasing a YouTube video detailing his final months in the company, the star also took to social media to share an email to book him for wrestling events.
Kross wrote: “Hey… life is fighting, right?” amid reports his contract had expired with a follow-up: “Now accepting bookings.”
It’s unclear whether Kross is actually done with WWE, but the #WeWantKross movement could bring him back much like they did with R-Truth.
