Floyd Mayweather received some iconic help when he prepared to make his WWE debut back in 2008.
Mayweather is reportedly ‘ducking’ a rematch with Manny Pacquiao, but he’s still heavily involved in the combat world.
The boxing icon also dipped his toe into the world of professional wrestling when he faced The Big Show at WrestleMania in 2008.
The star was put through his paces by a legendary WWE Hall of Famer in preparation for his debut wrestling bout.

Triple H trained Floyd Mayweather for debut WWE match
Mayweather was trained by none other than Triple H when preparing for his WrestleMania match with The Big Show.
The Game was incredibly impressed by the boxer’s commitment and described ‘Money’ as ‘laser focused’ in an interview with FLAGRANT.
“The first time we trained together, we did two hours, and then I had to go on the road,” explained The Game about his work with Mayweather.
“I came back to Vegas and I go, ‘I want to review what we talked about last time.’ He goes, ‘Can I say it to you?’ He went on for 20 minutes and told me everything. I was like, ‘Damn. Alright.’”
Triple H is currently in charge of WWE as the Chief Content Officer and there’s every chance he could bring the boxer back into the fold.
Floyd Mayweather has already teased another WWE match
Mayweather is yet to return to the squared circle after his debut bout in 2008, but he’s not ruled out another match.
The star suggested he could make an incredible return WWE after 17 years in an interview with GiveMeSport in 2017.
The boxing icon revealed: “I can’t say what the future holds, but if they came to me again, most likely I may do it again.”
Boxing and professional wrestling have constantly crossed over throughout history, with the likes of Evander Holyfield, Muhammad Ali, and Mike Tyson making WWE appearances.
