Hulk Hogan sadly passed away at the age of 71, but his incredible professional wrestling legacy will live on forever.
The WWE Hall of Famer became the biggest star of the 1970s and 1980s, lifting the sport into mainstream success under Vince McMahon.
Hogan also appeared in Hollywood films and became a household name in the entire world of US entertainment.
His legacy in wrestling is so strong that John Cena picked one of his WWE matches as his favourite of all time.

John Cena picked Hulk Hogan vs The Rock as favourite WWE match
Cena appeared on After the Bell in 2020 and was asked by host Corey Graves what his favourite match of all time was.
Cena didn’t hesitate to name Hogan vs The Rock from WrestleMania 18 in 2002. “It’s awesome,” said the 17-time World Champion.
“Your heart’s pumping. You’re shaking the other guy next to you. What makes it magic is the noise and the audience. The audience makes the excitement,” said Cena.
Cena and Hogan never crossed over long enough to wrestle each other in a singles match, but they did share the ring.
The two icons of different generations appeared in a six-man tag together in 2005, which saw Hogan, Cena, and Shawn Michaels take on Chris Jericho, Christian, and Tyson Tomko.
Hulk Hogan nearly wrestled John Cena at WrestleMania
Hogan and Cena came close to having a singles match at WrestleMania 25, according to the WWE legend himself.
“Vince had me all hooked up with Cena and I said I’d do it,” said Hogan in an interview with Chris Van Vliet.
Unfortunately, the WWE Hall of Famer was hit by injury and had to have surgery so the legendary match was nixed.
“My back went out when I was talking to Vince on the phone,” Hogan revealed, and the biggest WWE dream match was lost forever.
