The highest-paid WWE star in the company has been confirmed, with the wrestler earning a staggering $5 million a year.
WWE is in a boom period, with consistent record gates, their $5bn streaming deal with Netflix, and huge shows all over the world.
As ever the popularity of WWE is proving to be incredibly lucrative for some of the biggest stars on the roster.
WWE stars have traditionally been paid very handsomely, with The Rock once pocketing $15 million in one year.
According to new report, there are seven performers who earn over $5 million a year and the top earner has been revealed.

Roman Reigns is WWE’s top earner
Wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer has provided some fascinating insights into WWE’s biggest contracts, and confirmed who earns the most.
“As far as income goes, there are seven WWE performers earning well over $5 million per year and two others who may also hit that figure this year,” Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio.
“Aside from The Rock, the highest-paid is Reigns,” confirmed Meltzer before pouring water on an internet rumor.
There were reports by former WWE broadcaster Jonathan Coachman that suggested WWE’s parent company, TKO, was hoping to restructure Reigns’ staggering contract.
Meltzer has described those reports as ‘false’, with WWE said to be happy with their legendary top star.
Reigns works a part-time contract in WWE, with his last appearance coming at the Monday Night Raw after WrestleMania 41.
Who are WWE’s other top earners?
While Meltzer did not name the other six WWE names who earn over $5 million a year, it’s easy to speculate.
Cody Rhodes will surely be one of the company’s top earners after a ridiculous run at the top that saw him capture the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 40.
Likewise, John Cena will definitely be one of those names after 20 years of being the biggest star in the company.
Other likely candidates are Randy Orton, Brock Lesnar, Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, and CM Punk.
