Rampage Jackson is one of the most popular UFC stars of all time, but the star also dipped his toe into the world of professional wrestling.
The star won the UFC Light Heavyweight Championship, as well as three Fight of the Night accolades for bouts with Forrest Griffin, Keith Jardine, and Jon Jones.
The star has kept up to date with the world of combat sports, with Jackson slamming Jake Paul for beating UFC stars.
The star made one WWE appearance in 2010, but he wasn’t entirely satisfied with his professional wrestling debut.
Rampage Jackson wasn’t allowed to Powerbomb WWE stars during Raw appearance
Jackson appeared on an episode of WWE Raw in 2010 to promote The A-Team, which saw him play B.A Baracus.
The UFC legend appeared alongside Bradley Cooper and Sharlto Copley on the eve of the Hollywood film’s release.
The star enjoyed certain aspects of his brief cameo into the world of professional wrestling, but one thing disappointed the UFC legend.
“I had so much fun with The Big Show,” said Jackson about his time on WWE Raw in an interview with Chris Van Vliet.
However, Jackson wanted to do something which WWE would not allow. “Nobody would let me Powerbomb on them, though I was kind of disappointed in that.”
Jackson made the Powerbomb a staple during his bouts in the Octagon.
Rampage Jackson made several other professional wrestling appearances
Jackson’s sole WWE appearance wasn’t the end of the star’s time in professional wrestling, as he would appear for TNA between 2013 and 2014.
The star made his debut in the Main Event Mafia faction, but only wrestled in one official match for the company.
Jackson teamed with Magnus, Samoa Joe, AJ Styles and Sting in a victory over The Aces & Eights at Hardcore Justice in 2013.
The UFC legend also wrestled in Japan for Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport, defeating Hideki Sekine by TKO in 2024.
