The third WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event of 2025 is here, and it comes as part of a busy weekend for the company.
Saturday Night’s Main Event has been a TV institution in the United States since 1985, when the likes of Hulk Hogan, Cyndi Lauper, and Mr T were watched by millions.
It was brought back in 2024 by Triple H, with huge high-profile matches such as Cody Rhodes vs Kevin Owens and John Cena vs R-Truth taking place since.

When and where is Saturday Night’s Main Event taking place?
WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event is set to take place at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia on July 12.
What time does WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event start?
Saturday Night’s Main Event is a television special rather than a Premium Live Event and will have the slightly later start time of 8:00 PM (ET) and 5:00 PM (PT) in the United States.
That means UK viewers will need to stay up until 01:00 AM (BST) if they want to watch the event live.
How to watch and live stream WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event?
WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event will air live on NBC in the United States, the usual spot and time of American institution Saturday Night Live.
In the UK, the show will not appear on Netflix, unlike WWE’s usual TV shows and Premium Live Events. Saturday Night’s Main Event airs exclusively on WWE’s YouTube channel.
WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event match card
There are currently three matches confirmed for Saturday Night’s Main Event. The show has typically had a five-match card since Triple H brought the institution back.
With the women’s only event Evolution 2 taking place the next night, this is expected to be an all-male affair. The card is currently as follows:
- Gunther (c) vs Goldberg – Singles match for the World Heavyweight Championship
- LA Knight vs Seth Rollins
- Drew McIntyre vs Randy Orton
Goldberg is set to compete in his final match
The fourth installment of Saturday Night’s Main Event in the Triple H era is set to be topped by Goldberg’s final-ever professional wrestling bout.
The WWE Hall of Famer will be competing against Gunther in Atlanta, the spiritual home of WCW where Goldberg first made a name for himself.
The star’s feud with Gunther started at Bad Blood last October, when the Austrian confronted Goldberg and his family at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta.
This will be Goldberg’s 13th wrestling match in WWE since returning to the company in 2016.
