WWE’s SummerSlam is considered the company’s second biggest show of the year and the 2025 event is set to be the largest yet.
Second only to WrestleMania, the stadium show is set to take place over two nights for the first time in its history.
As such, WWE is expected to stack the two-night card, with the likes of Roman Reigns, John Cena, and Cody Rhodes slated to appear.
Here is everything you need to know about SummerSlam.
When and where is SummerSlam taking place?
SummerSlam will take place on Saturday, August 2, and Sunday, August 3 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
The stadium is home to NFL sides, the New York Giants and the New York Jets and it’s no stranger to huge WWE shows.
The 82,500 capacity stadium has hosted two WrestleMania events in 2013 and 2019, which were main evented by Cena vs The Rock and Becky Lynch vs Ronda Rousey vs Charlotte Flair.
What time does SummerSlam start?
SummerSlam will start at 8 pm Eastern, 5 pm Pacific, and 1 am GMT on both nights of the New Jersey event.
Although not yet announced, it’s likely a pre-show hosted by the likes Michael Cole, Wade Barrett, and Jackie Redmond will air two hours before the event.
How to watch and live stream SummerSlam?
SummerSlam is able to be watched internationally via Netflix, just like every other WWE PLE since the company struck a deal with the streaming giant.

How to get tickets for SummerSlam 2025
There are currently 4750 tickets left for the first night of SummerSlam with WWE shifting 39,627, according to WrestleTix.
The second night of the event has sold slightly more tickets, with 40,790 distributed for the Sunday. That means there’s 3587 tickets left for the event.

WWE SummerSlam match card
Two of SummerSlam’s matches were confirmed at Night of Champions, with King and Queen of the Ring winners Jade Cargill and Rhodes confirmed for championship matches.
After Roman Reigns’ WWE Raw return, The Tribal Chief is expected to compete at the New Jersey event for the first time since WrestleMania.
Reigns will likely face Bron Breakker in a singles match, or team with Jey Uso to face Breakker and Bronson Reed.
SummerSlam will also mark GRAMMY-winner Jelly Roll’s WWE debut as he teams with Randy Orton to take on Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul.
Other matches expected to be announced are AJ Styles vs Dominik Mysterio for the Intercontinental Championship and matches for both tag titles.
